Writing Prompt: Today you will write an opinion piece as to what you think would be a good dinner for your family.

Remember, the best way to convince people is to give them reasons that support your opinion. When you want to convince your readers, it is important to not only state your opinion but give lots of reasons and examples. *Here's a tip: when you want to say more about a reason for your opinion, it helps to say, “I think that because...” or “For example…” Finally, add details and a conclusion. Remember to refer to your word wall for correct spelling, and check your work over for accuracy and completion before sending.
