4D_Project 3_Choose Your Own Adventure PROJECTS: Option 1 Continue working on the previous project. The final version must be substantially longer and improved. Option 2 Create 3 short looping animations, one for a place you’ve been, and two for places you want to visit. Option 3 Create a 30 second commercial for a fake product. Option 4 A large part of being an artist/designer is learning how – in the face of infinite possibility – to develop your own projects, complete with conceptual prompt and technical parameters. So, for our final project, I would like you to develop your own assignment. The only requirement is that your project must include sound. Projects will vary but they should be ambitious and about something you love or find interesting. To help you get started, I have attached a list of conceptual prompts taken from the book, Elements And Principles Of 4D Art And Design, by Ellen Mueller. Please read through them if you need help generating ideas. Remember: only dead fish follow the stream. IDEATION PROCESS: Step 1: Chose one of the options and identify your concept(s) (see attached list below for help), or brainstorm. Step 2: Create a storyboard and color script. Templates are in the OneDrive folder titled “ZZ_Storyboard Template”. Step 3: Create an animatic. Animatics are video versions of your storyboards laid out in sequence on an animation timeline with audio/soundtrack aligned.
