Dear Parents: Our Memory Verse this week: “... the kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord, and He will reign forever.”Revelation 11:15 Today we discovered: ! Our lives are made up of different parts, or mountains ! Our lives are influenced by whoever is on “top” of the mountains ! Each mountain has glory ! We have been called to be mountain climbers for God’s Kingdom Parent’s Points to Ponder: Ask Your Child: Why are the mountains or parts of our lives so important to God? (Because they are important to us) What is hidden on the mountains? (Glory) What does God call us to be like? (Salt and light) Why? (Salt and light changes the things around them) Soaking Time: . *See Home Activity. Home Activity: Discuss with your family the different areas of their lives such as school, family, church, where they work and play. Out of poster board, create a “mountain range” by drawing an outline of seven mountains. Label the peaks: CHURCH, FAMILY, BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT, EDUCATION, MEDIA, ARTS and ENTERTAINMENT. Leave enough room where your child can post writings, pictures, or drawings under each heading. This poster will serve as a prayer/activity center where the family will be able to pray for each mountain. This year has been a time of discovery, equipping, and releasing your child into their destiny, to walk in their true identity, and receive from the Father all they need to complete their Royal Mission. Your child will see that this journey is leading to the “mountains”. These mountains are the parts of our lives that determine how we think, what we value, and how we behave. Whatever kingdom occupies these centers of influence, decides whether godliness or unrighteousness prevails in a culture. As your child becomes a mountain climber, they will see how powerful they are in bringing Heaven to earth and the mountains of influence. In a soaking atmosphere, invite your child into the Father’s presence. ! Let’s thank Him for His love and goodness ! Tell Him you are glad He is your Papa, and you are His child ! Thank Him for your Royal Mission to the seven mountains ! Let Him know you want to be salt and light to change the mountains - so they will be godly and Jesus will receive glory Encourage your child to go to the “mountains”* and to pray God’s heart, salt and light over them. Ask your child what the Father showed them Heaven to Home WHAT WE LEARNED TODAY 8 Parent’s Blessing: ( Your child’s name ), I bless your spirit and encourage you to be a mighty mountain climber as you fulfill your Royal Mission. You are Heaven’s salt and light, as you bring Papa’s presence, love and power to those bound by darkness. ( Your child’s name ), I rejoice with Heaven over the glory Jesus receives as you demonstrate God’s Kingdom in your journey to the mountain tops. I speak this blessing in the name of the Living Word, Jesus Christ. Amen.
