What I learned this morning. 4/27/12
I introduced myself to a man I have seen running, doing push-ups, stretching exercises, sit-ups, and other calesthentics on our track in the morning. He usually comes between 6:00-6:30am.
I asked him: "What keeps you going?"
His reply? "I LOVE PLAYING SOCCER." "It's hard to work out every day", he said, "but when I miss
exercising, my body craves the exercise."
What would you like to do in your life?
I want to form habits that lift me, that make me stronger and happier. I don't want to sit around and do nothing. I want real happiness. I cannot believe that happiness is doing things that will give me cravings for drugs that cost me lots of money. I don't want my health ruined. I don't want substances or activities that tear me and the people I "love" apart.
How about you?
