Welcome to Trone of Skulls: Supremacy. Ahead of you lies a

weekend dedicated to the hobby of collecting, painting and playing

carnage filled games with Citadel Miniatures using the brand new

Supremacy actical Objective deck.

Trone of Skulls events are perfect for all hobbyists to come and

enjoy as the focus is on camaraderie and playing in the spirit of the

game; that is to say friendly competition and fair play are the order

of the day.

WHAT IS THRONE OF SKULLS?

At Trone o Skulls, you’ll get to lead your army through 5 games

o Warhammer 40,000 over incredible terrain, acing ully painted

armies led by like-minded opponents. You will fight or personal glory

in the arenas o gaming, painting, sportsmanship and more. Grab

your collection o miniatures, and head to Nottingham or a hobby

experience like no other.

EVENT ESSENTIALS

System: Warhammer 40,000.

Army Size: At least one army o 1650 points.

Number of games: 5.

Army Selection: Battle Forged or Unbound (you choose).

Scenarios in use: Maelstrom o War (randomly determined).

Publications in use: All Warhammer 40,000

publications rom Games Workshop, including

Black Library, White Dwar and Forge World

(excluding Horus Heresy publications).

A NOE ON PAINING AND BASING:

At registration we will ask you i your army is

ully painted and based. I it isn’t don’t panic!

We will do our best to give you the time and space you

need to get your modelsfinished beore your first game.

As we don’t allow anyone to play with unpainted or

unbased models, but we understand that lie gets in the

way sometimes, we will do our best to help you get

them up to standard.

I you have a model which is unfinished, then we politely

ask you to remove it rom the table, as we are obliged to protectthe experience o every attendant - we all want to play against ully

painted armies, and this event is designed to give everyone the

opportunity to do just that!

All miniatures in your collection must be produced by Games

Workshop and be ully assembled, painted and based. Each model

must ully represent what you have presented on your army lists.

THE SCHEDULE

SATURDAY

9:00am: Warhammer World main doors open

9:55am: Welcome and event briefing

10:00am–12:30pm: Game 1

12:30pm–1:30pm: Lunch and the Hero, Beast and Engine o Legends

1:30pm–4:00pm: Game 2

4:00pm–4:30pm: Break

4:30pm–7:00pm: Game 3 and the Company o Legends8:00pm: Warhammer World closes

SUNDAY

9:00am: Doors open.

10:00am–12:30pm: Game 4

12:30pm–1:30pm: Lunch and the Best Army Competition Voting

1:30pm–4:00pm: Game 5

4:00pm–4:45pm: Break

4:45pm–5:00pm: Award Ceremony

5:00pm: Event closes



ARMIES

o attend this event, you will need at least one ully painted and based

army o up to 1650 points, selected using the “choosing your army”

section o the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook (page 116).

You may bring more armies i you wish, and play any o them that you

eel like game to game. Tis is to give everyone involved a bit o variety

over the weekend. While many people are perectly happy to play with

just one army over the weekend, it’s not a requirement o the event andi you want to mix it up a little you can.

Please be aware however that we do require that all o the miniatures

you bring have been produced by Games Workshop and are ully

assembled, painted and based. For the sake o clarity or your

opponents, and to avoid mid-game conusion, we also require that

each model represents exactly what it is on your army lists (including

all weapons and equipment).

GAMES

Over the course o the weekend, you will get to play five games o

Warhammer 40,000, each lasting up to two and a hal hours. Beore

each game, we will randomly select a mission rom the Maelstrom

o War section o the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook (pages 148-153),

which everyone in the event will play. Once the mission is played, it

will be crossed off our list; each one will only be played a maximum o

once.

All your opponents throughout the weekend will be randomly selected

or you by the Events eam. Simply find out what table you are on, and

make your way there to meet your opponent and start your game.

GRUDGES

I you and another player agree, we can arrange that you play against

each other in the last game. Tis is a great way to ensure a thoroughly

climatic ending to your weekend, or a chance to settle old grudges in

the finest way possible - alongside a good riend.

We call these matches grudge matches and we take details afer your

first game on Sunday during lunchtime - so i you want to arrange a

match just let us know!

SCORING

Troughout the event, you’ll earn Victory Points in your games. At

the end o each game, simply record how Victory Points you earned

or primary and secondary missions combined. How many Victory

Points, combined with how many Favourite Game Votes you score

(see below) will help determine who is awarded the mighty Trone o

Skulls trophy.

SUPREMACY POINTSAt this Trone o Skulls, the name o the game is o course, to reign

supreme. As a result we have a unique award to give away – the

Supreme Commander – to whoever scores the most ‘Supremacy

Points’ that weekend. We will record Supremacy Points using the

ollowing rules:

• Every Victory Point you score gains you a Supremacy Point.

• Every Supremacy actical Objective you succeed at gives you three

Supremacy Points.

• We will then multiply your Supremacy Points by your Favourite

Game Votes to get your total Supremacy Points or the weekend.

EXAMPLE:

James plays in all five games and scores a total o 65 Victory Points

and does this by succeeding in 40 individual actical Objectives

throughout his games.

Tis total o 105 is now multiplied by his Favourite Game Votes, o

which he received 2.

Tis leaves his Supremacy total at 210.

FAVOURITE GAME VOTES

Favourite Game Votes are simple - just pick the game you enjoyed

the most that weekend. It’s a great way to acknowledge a really un

game, an opponent with whom you had a great rapport, or maybe it

was just that their army looked antastic. Votes are taken at the end o

the weekend with the results o your final game, so please show your

appreciation o your avourite opponent.

HOW TO WIN THE THRONE OF SKULLS

At the end o the weekend, we will call all o the players who have

earned the most Favourite Game votes to the stage. O these players,

the one who has scored the most Victory Points will be awarded the

legendary Trone o Skulls trophy. Only players who themselveshanded in a Favourite Game vote are eligible.

At this Trone o Skulls, i there is a urther tie afer Victory Points,

then we will use Supremacy Points as a final sorter.SUPREMACY - HOW TO REIGN SUPREME.

Te eagle eyed amongst you will notice that this event is based around

the brand new actical Objective cards that were released a ew

months ago.

Tey should still be on the shelves, so bear in mind you will need

your own set of supremacy cards to attend this event!

We will have plenty on the shelves o Warhammer World, just in case

you can’t get any in the run up to the event.



OTHER ACTIVITIES DURING THE EVENT

LEGENDS PAINTING COMPETITIONS

Legends gives you the chance to show off your skills with single

models and units rather than with whole armies. Simply enter the

relevant category when it’s open; once all the entries are in, we will

ask all the players to vote or their avourites. Te player that earns the

most votes in each category will win the relevant prize. (please note:

only miniatures rom your Trone o Skulls army may be entered into

this competition).

Hero of Legend: All types o Inantry, Cavalry, Bikes and Jetbikes

Beast of Legend: Monstrous Creatures, Flying Monstrous Creatures

Engine of Legend: All vehicles and Artillery.

Company of Legend: Any unit o 5 or less Inantry or cavalry on

40mm bases or smaller or 3 or less Cavalry, Bikes, Jetbikes or Inantry

on 50mm bases or larger.

THE BEST ARMY COMPETITION

It’s an honour or any hobbyist to have their army nominated by the

Events team or the Best Army competition. Make sure you show your

appreciation by voting or your avourite collection rom those selected

during Sunday lunch time. Te player who receives the most number

o votes will earn the Best Army award and glory shall be theirs!

AWARDS

At the end o Trone o Skulls, we will hold an Awards Ceremony

where we recognise the achievements earned over the course o the

event. We will be presenting:

Te Trone of Skulls to the Most Sporting Player who has scored the

most Victory Points.

Best Army to the player who earns the most Best Army votes during

lunch time on Sunday.

Te Hero, Beast, Engine and Company of Legends awards will go to

the winners o each respective Legends painting competitions.

Te Supreme Commander: Tis award will go to the player who

achieves the most Supremacy Points over the weekend.

LUNCH

We will be providing lunch or you on both days - Saturday and

Sunday. Te menu is decided closer to date by our expert ches,

and we make sure that a wide variety o dietary requirements arecatered or. I you can let us know beore the event then we can easily

accommodate any requests, but i you can’t (or orget!) don’t worry -

we will also circle the hall during the first game asking or any specific

requests and you can inorm us then too.
