Offensive Line Terminology

Ace- Double Team with Guard and Center

Base- Inside, over, outside, to near linebacker

Deuce- Double Team with Guard and Tackle

Down- Play side l ineman block toward the inside

Fold- Center blocks back and BSG steps around

G- Tackle blocks down on first lineman inside, guard pulls to linebacker

Hinge- Lineman take one step in direction of play and turn backside

Load- Blocking scheme adjustment forcing an inside release by the tackle and guard.

Log- Tackle reaches D-End and pins him insideLoop- Tackle outside releases last down lineman to first linebacker inside, white the

guard releases to the closest backer (PSLB if even)

Power- BSG pulls and leads up on LB
