In the history of the State of Arizona, there has never been a greater need for your leadership and collaboration. 13,170 lives were lost to abortion in Arizona in 2016. This cannot continue on our watch! A new day has come and you are needed more than ever before. We must unite with love in our hearts and resolve in our bellies until abortion becomes unthinkable. We must become a state where women and children can thrive during and after an unplanned pregnancy.

We invite you to join us for a vibrant, passionate, family-friendly event celebrating, educating and activating the pro-life movement in Arizona. The Arizona for Life March and Rally 2018 will focus on empowering individuals and communities to be first responders when women facing unplanned pregnancies believe abortion is their only option, while also offering a path towards healing for men and women struggling with a past abortion decision.

This event will occur in downtown Phoenix at midday on January 20, 2018. It will begin with a March for Life to the Arizona State Capitol and conclude with a rally to celebrate and inspire those who come to “Be a Voice” for the most vulnerable children.

Hosted by the Arizona Life Coalition, an organization dedicated to bringing together the pro-life community, the rally will feature live, upbeat music and engaging speakers, including Pam Tebow (mother of Tim Tebow), Stephanie Gray, Bishop Thomas J. Olmsted, and Pastor Warren Stewart, Jr.

Our goal is to have 13,170 attendees present - each a voice for a boy or girl who could not speak for themselves. To help us reach this goal, please plan to join us and utilize the toolkit provided to help spread the word.

AZ for Life March & RallyStatement of PurposeJanuary 20, 2018 • Downtown Phoenix

As citizens of the pro-life State of Arizona, committed to unified support and action to celebrate and protect the sanctity of human life in our state and to be a model for our nation, we are marching to, and gathering at, our State’s Capitol on January 20, 2018 for the following reasons:

1. We march to celebrate with gratitude the gift of life, a gift from our Creator, from whom we have received the right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

2. We march to mark this date, which 45 years ago, marked a radical departure from the duty of our nation to protect the first of these rights for the pre-born child. A decision which puts every human life on shaky legal ground, deeply damages the rule of law, and which the American people—certainly the people of Arizona!—have never accepted. Like the Dred Scott decision of 1857, which ruled that African Americans were property and lacked basic rights, Roe v. Wade cannot, in the end, stand. We mark this date with hope and confidence that a goodness remains in the American people to throw off this unjust law and to make abortion unthinkable as slavery is now unthinkable.

3. We march to acknowledge the pain inflicted on millions of women who have suffered physical and psychological harm as a result of their abortions, a reality that “legalizing the procedure” has done nothing to stop. We pledge to protect the safety and dignity of all women and to act so that women will not experience the tragedy and pain brought on by abortion. We also acknowledge the men who also have suffered lost fatherhood through the tragedy of an abortion decision. We resolve to do all we can to offer and provide hope and healing. 4. We march to engage memory. That we and our children and our children’s children know the infamy of this date in U.S. history, the positive nature and vibrancy of the pro-life cause, and commit to prayerful actions to the overturning of this unjust law and a rebirth of a culture of life.

5. We march to stand in solidarity with all innocents whose lives are threatened. This includes our preborn brothers and sisters as well as the disabled and the elderly.

6. As we march, we commit to true compassion for those who are in crisis because of an unexpected pregnancy or family difficulty, supporting hope-filled alternatives to the tragic decision of abortion or euthanasia with our prayers, financial means and actions.

7. As we march, we pledge to call upon Almighty God for our legislators and leaders of government. Arizona is a strong pro-life state and will remain so under our watch.
