STATE TIMES NEWS RAJOURI: Continuing its mass out-reach programme for service deliveryunder J and K Public ServiceGuarantee Act and for redressing pub-lic grievances on issues related tohealth, district administration Rajourihas notified 25 medical camps acrossthe district, commencing from 6thJuly. The camps will also promotehealth and hygiene in rural areas.
The camps to be held under the guid-ance and supervision of DistrictDevelopment Commissioner, DrShahid Iqbal Choudhary will be organ-ised and attended by AdditionalDeputy Commissioner, AssistantCommissioner (Rev), Sub-DivisionalMagistrates beside senior officers ofHealth and Family WelfareDepartment. Block Medical Officerswill organise all health related check-ups and certification.
Besides redressing public grievanceson issues related to health, complaintsabout functioning of field health insti-
tutions and encroachment of hospitalland, services under J and K PublicService Guarantee Act includingMedical Fitness Certificates, Old Age,Widow Certificate will be also providedin these camps. Joint teams of Healthand Social Welfare Departments willalso verify pension cases and processnew application forms for pension.Department of Panchayats will coordi-nate for coverage of area under SwachhBharat Mission and promoting cleanli-ness and hygiene at these camps.
