Highly Qualified, Degreed Teachers Music Place Mansfield provides the highest quality of music and acting instruction. Our teachers have years of education and teaching experience and include: a Broadway Actor, International Vocalist and Professional Working Musicians.
Professional Facilities We have state of the art facilities with group and private rooms, rehearsal hall, custom built-in stage with professional sound and lighting, modern lobby areas and free Wi-Fi.
All Ages - All Levels With our theory-focused program and foundation to succeed our students range from 18 months to adults in their 80s, beginners to advanced. Our fun, enthusiastic learning environment is perfect for promoting talents and gifts.
Regular Performance Opportunities In addition to semester recitals, we offer multiple performance opportunities within our community.
1. How much do GROUP classes cost? Tuition is $340 for the fall semester and $425 for the spring semester. Tuition may be paid in full or in equal monthly installments of $87. Multi-class/family discounts are available. Our tuition is all-inclusive! It covers all curriculum, recital music and performance fees. Registration is $30 per child with a $50 family max.
1. How much do PRIVATE lessons cost? Tuition is $464 for the fall semester and $580 for the spring semester. Tuition may be paid in full or in equal monthly installments of $118. Multi-class/family discounts are available. Our tuition is all-inclusive! It covers all curriculum, recital music and performance fees. Registration is $30 per child with a $50 family max.
2. How old does my child need to be before taking piano, guitar, voice and acting?
Piano: Children may begin group piano as young as 4. Our curriculum is specially designed for the youngest pianists. Acting: Students may begin group acting lessons as young as 5. Voice: Students may begin group voice lessons as young as 5. Guitar: Children may join group guitar at age 9.
3. How long are the classes & lessons? Piano & Guitar: Meet weekly for 45 minutes. Acting: Classes for ages 5-8 meet weekly for 45 minutes. Classes for ages 8-12 meet weekly for 60 minutes. Voice: With vocal safety in mind, classes for ages 5-7 are 30 minutes. Classes for students ages 8-15 are 45 minutes. Private lessons meet weekly for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes.
5. How do we register for a class? Registration may be completed online, in person or by calling 817-473-2822.
6. What if we cannot make it to a class? Do you offer make-ups? With advanced noticed, missed classes can easily be made up in another group class.
7. What happens if we decide we cannot continue a class halfway through the semester? When a student decides to drop a class, a two week notice is required. There may be a small supply fee added for each class to cover books.
8. We can’t make any of the classes offered. Do you offer any other programs? Yes! Speak to one of our staff members about our “Create A Class” option and find out how you can build a class with your friends. In addition, we offer private lessons and workshops.
9. Do you have any performance opportunities? Yes! We have multiple opportunities for students to perform. Some opportunities include: local community events, open mic nights, recitals and more.
AGES 4-7 Piano Fun This class takes our youngest pianists on a musical journey as they learn the basics of piano in a fun, interactive environment. Students learn keyboard geography, rhythms and ear training as they build confidence and lasting friendships. Begins at age 4.
Little Voices Young vocalists develop their voices in a safe and fun way. Students learn breath support, diction, matching pitch and more while they discover their inner voice. Students experience music through singing, movement and rhythm activities. Music appreciation is fostered through carefully chosen songs from traditional, folk and popular standards. Begins at age 5.
Little Actors Are your child’s dreams filled with dragons, princesses and astronauts? Students learn how to use their imaginations to create a world all their own. A short stage performance at the end of the semester gives family and friends a chance to join in the fun! Begins at age 5.
Piano Fun Students begin their musical adventure learning keyboard geography, basic rhythms and various techniques. This class prepares students for adding popular radio and movie hits to their future repertoire. With strong piano skills, students can easily learn other instruments creating a well-rounded musician.
Sing Out! From traditional to teen pop, singers take the stage and learn to sing with confidence and style. This class features strong theory and vocal technique such as proper breathing, solfege and interpretation. Our curriculum gives vocal students a chance to experience music through multiple genres and eras.
Theater Young actors experience every aspect of the theater as they learn stage presence, improv and character development. This exciting theater class ends each semester with a performance that leaves the audience shouting “Bravo!”
AGES 8-11
Guitar Ready to take a page out of Hendrix’ s book and Slash like Santana? Then this is the place to start! These classes let students learn how to rock using techniques and theoretical concepts such as reading the staff, tabs and charts, fret-ting/fingering and strumming. Begins at age 9.
The Pop Stars If belting out a tune is your child’s dream, now is their time to shine! This popular performance group learns how to sing safely through current and classic top 40 hits. Add in some cool dance moves, and these born performers are singing their way to stardom! They maintain an exciting performance schedule through several commu-nity events each semester. Begins at age 9.

Workshops Musical Theater
Annie! Wicked! Shrek! Take your favorite hit musicals, throw in some awesome choreography, and your on you’re way to Broadway! These exciting performance workshops include over 35 hours of rehearsal/instruction, costuming and multiple performances that will showcase the actor in a professional environment.
On Camera
Want to be in the movies? From rolling to action to cut, students experience the thrill of acting on camera! In these workshops, students learn the fundamentals of acting on camera while filming a commercial, movie trailer and more!
Rock Band These workshops give students the opportunity to learn how to jam with other musicians. Rock Band is designed to be hands-on, fun and educational by challenging students to learn, analyze and perform hit music. Workshop ends with a music video and a live performance. Students must be enrolled in private lessons throughout the workshop.
