o Announcement about Heifer sale – Wayne announced The Cleveland County Cattlemen’s Association will have the annual heifer sale on February 13th – Wayne suggested we would be able to learn a lot by attending and seeing what goes on – sale starts at 12pm

o Talk to Mark Greene about cheaper feeding program – Wayne told us that Southern States has some alternatives feeds other than Jump start and Intensity that may be cheaper– if interested let Wayne know or talk to Mark Greene

o Continuing our community service project – Wendy Turbyfill spoke with the Activity Director at Cleveland Pines and she has provided the names of 21 residents that we can continue to write to and share information about our project with on a monthly basis – the resident we are matched with will get one of our Valentine cards and at each meeting we will take a few minutes to write a quick note to be delivered to the resident to let them know how our calf is growing and how the project is going – be sure to take pictures and bring them to the meeting if you want to include them with your letter
