Clover Kids Clothing Event Saturday, June 17
This annual event will be held at Grace West Church in West Des Moines. Judging will take place from 8 am - 1 pm, with a public style show following at 4:30 pm. Categories will be: Fashion Revue: constructed outfit Clothing Selection: purchased outfit $15 Challenge: outfit is purchased from a 2nd hand store & total cost is $15 or less. Getting Ready for Fair Parents and Clover Kids are invited to join us to discover what they need to know in order to participate in the fair - both with and without animals. It will cover what is required & project ideas, along with what you can’t bring to the fair. There will also be time to answer all your fair related questions. The event will be held on Thursday, April 6 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at the extension office. RSVP to Lisa by Tuesday, April 4.
Reminder! All live animals need to be Id’d in 4HOnline by the May 15 deadline
in order to show at the county fair. No late entries.

TASTE OF CAMP Clover Kids are invited to attend our 1 night / 2 day camp from Thursday morning June 15 - Friday even-ing June 16 at the Clover Woods Camp (formerly 4-H Youth Center) near Madrid. Older youth can attend the full camp starting on Wednesday, June 14. Information and registration is now available at, http://www.extension.iastate.edu/dallas Clover Kids are eligible to receive assistance with 1/2 of the camp fee, up to $50 from the Dallas County Youth Committee. Kids in the Kitchen Eating healthy and cooking skills go hand in hand. Kids will have the opportunity to prepare and taste healthy foods while learning about healthy eating and physi-cal activity along with food and kitchen safety. “Hands to Larger Service” service learning event
THANK YOU to everyone who supported our local food pantries by donating food and money throughout the collection period and also to those who were able to attend the March event. We collected over 1500 lbs. of food along with over $850. We were also able to learn about food insecurity and ways we can assist in helping to make a positive impact!
Clover Kids Communications Day We were SO impressed with all the awesome working exhibits and presentations from our Clover Kids! They did fabulous and gained some very valuable experience.
