    DETAILS: On April 8, 2010 at 9:51 a.m., a gas pipe line was struck at a

    construction site on the Princeton University Forrestal Campus. The surrounding

    buildings were evacuated and Forrestal Road was shut down temporarily, while

    emergency responders addressed the gas leak. PSE&G, Plainsboro Police,

    Plainsboro EMS, Plainsboro Fire Co., Plainsboro CERT, Princeton Plasma Physics

    Laboratory Fire Dept., Princeton Jct. Fire Co., Kingston Vol. Fire Co. and

    Princeton Public Safety all responded to the scene. PSE&G abated the gas leak and

    the roadways were subsequently reopened. There were no reported injuries in this

    incident.

    INCIDENT: Fire

    DATE/TIME OCCURRED: April 8, 2010 at approximately 5:06 p.m.

    LOCATION OCCURRED: Wooded area in the rear of cul-de-sac on Heritage Way,

    Cranbury NJ.

    WHO: (OTHER)

    Plainsboro Twp. Juveniles: two age 13 and a 12 year old

    DETAILS:

    A brush fire was extinguished by Plainsboro Twp Fire Dept in a wooded area near

    Heritage Way. Investigation revealed the fire to be started by three juveniles who

    were playing with a lighter near a wooded area. They subsequently set fire to some

    leaves, which led to a moderate size brush fire. After a brief investigation, it was

    determined the juveniles were lighting leaves on fire when the wind caused it to

    spread quickly.

    INCIDENT: THEFT OF PROPERTY LOST

    DATE/TIME OCCURRED: April 8, 2010 at 1:04 p.m.

    LOCATION OCCURRED: Princeton Meadows Shopping Center

    WHO: (VICTIM)

    A resident of Princeton, NJ

    DETAILS: On the above date Ptl. Mathieu Baumann responded to the lobby of

    Police Headquarters for a report of theft. Investigation revealed that the victim

    mistakenly left her purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot of the Princeton

    Meadows Shopping Center. When the victim returned to the parking lot, her purse

    had been stolen from the shopping cart. The approximate value of stolen property

    was $200.00.
