Brief descriptions

• Container A carried out gotong – royong by cutting the grass and

clear the area near the main junction at Kampung Sungai Pinang.

• This will provide a clearer view for motorcyclist and car driver who are

using the junction and also to reduce accident cases.

• The gotong royong was held in collaboration with Head Village of

Perigi Nenas and its committee and school teachers.

• Container D provides manpower and all cleaning equipment for the

program.

• The main objective is to reduce the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes and

epidemic cases at this area with the support of community members

and local authorities.

• The organizer also conduct quizzes for the younger residents to teach

them on the prevention of dengue.

• Westports Malaysia have carried out the program since 2015 and

successfully planted in total 5,988 mangrove plants together with

Infinity Logistics & Transport Sdn. Bhd, Central Spectrum (M) Sdn. Bhd

and Persatuan Pendidikan dan Kebajikan Jaringan Nelayan Pantai

Malaysia (JARING).

• This program was held in conjunction with Westports 25th

Anniversary, where we planted 2,500 mangrove plants
