Overview

Use this scenario to connect a BTS to an IP NodeB that is collocated in order to provide

the E1 clock out from the BTS for IP NodeB synchronization. This scenario applies to all

types of Indoor and Outdoor 9100 BTSs.

You must have the following site specific information:

• The BTS has the Abis port 2 free

• All items required by this operation are available

• All tools required by this operation are available.

This procedure can be performed for already installed BTSs and NodeBs that are

collocated.

The figure provides an example to show the position of the TX Abis 2 on the KRONE
