We passionately support fine music, especially Melbourne musicians and composers. We aim to be the leading fine music broadcaster in Melbourne and support our community of listeners, performers and composers.

About 3MBS3MBS is Melbourne’s only local fine music radio station.Operating on a Community Radio license we rely on the financial support of listeners in the form of subscriptions, donations, bequests and sponsorship.

Our broadcasters are all volunteers who are passionate about fine music. 3MBS engages a diverse community of almost 200 volunteer workers.

Founded in 1975, 3MBS was the first 24-hour FM station in Victoria and led the way for the introduction of community radio in Australia.

Pre-recorded Promotions3MBS produces all sponsorship announcements in-house.In co-ordination with the Sponsorship Manager and theSpecial Projects Producer we produce your script and fine tune it for the 3MBS audience. 3MBS create a professional 30 second audio and all clients have input into the process and approve all final announcements before they go to air.
