About the ProgramThe 3M Window Film Cooperative (Co-Op) Program was established to support the advertising, marketing, and sales efforts of Authorized 3M Window Film Dealers participating in the Dealer Rewards Program. Qualifying Dealers will receive an annual Co-Op allowance from 3M based on a percentage of a Dealer’s total annual qualifying purchases in the previous year. As a qualifying dealer, you can use your Co-Op allowance in one of two ways:

1. Engage in and execute approved marketing opportunities. 3M will reimburse you for 50% of the approved marketing expenses.

2. Direct 100% of your Co-Op allowance to marketing and lead generation campaigns executed by 3M Authorized Distributors on behalf of and to directly benefit you.

For dealer executed campaigns, submit the necessary supporting documentation to the 3M Cooperative Program Coordinator via the Co-Op portal found on the Dealer Advantage extranet site. Submissions via U.S. Mail will no longer be accepted. It is not necessary to submit your claim to your 3M Window Film Distributor. Compliance with the Dealer Rewards Program Terms and Conditions is required for program participation. 3M reserves the right to make changes to the Dealer Rewards Cooperative Program without prior notice.

Review ServiceTo help ensure the 3M brand and trademark usage is correct and compliant with the program guidelines, program participants are encouraged to submit advertising to 3M for review prior to placement. Items not submitted for review prior to placement may not be eligible for reimbursement. Items may be submitted for review via email. All items will be reviewed within 48 hours of submission excluding holidays and weekends. If the advertising meets the program guidelines, the dealer will receive notice of approval. If the advertising does not meet the program guidelines, the dealer will receive notice of areas of non-compliance and suggested modification. Advertising may be submitted as many times as needed to obtain pre-approval.

Reimbursement Qualifications and Required DocumentationAll qualifying activities are eligible for 50% reimbursement. Listed below are approved activities that are elligible for Co-Op reimbursement. To verify whether an activity not listed qualifies for reimbursement, please contact the Program Coordinator prior to engaging in the activity.

Activity Examples Required Documentation for Reimbursement Consideration

Digital Marketing• Online marketing such as banner advertising

• Website development, improvement, and maintenance

• Search engine optimization (SEO)

• Paid search campaigns (SEM)

A copy of the paid invoice, measurement/ranking report, keyword list and banner advertisement (when applicable)

Commercial Tradeshow Space Rental• Show space only. Does not include electricity,

internet, etc. A copy of the trade/home show contractand a photo of the booth at the show

Other Pre-Approved Activities• Store branding such as signage, Point of

Purchase displays

• Educational activities that will help dealer grow window film business

Must get pre-approval from 3M prior to incurring expenses

Claim Submission Process

For Dealer executed campaigns, please submit the necessary supporting documentation to the 3M Cooperative Program Coordinator via the online Co-Op portal found on the Dealer Advantage extranet site. Claims submitted via U.S. Mail or email will not be accepted nor returned. Do not submit your claim to your 3M Window Film Distributor. Compliance with the 3M Window Film Dealer Rewards Program Terms and Conditions is required for program participation. 3M reserves the right to make changes to the Dealer Rewards Cooperative Program without prior notice.

Additional Submission Requirement

• Each claim must include a copy of the paid activity invoice. Credit card and/or copies of bank statements are not accepted as proof of services rendered.

• Each invoice may only be submitted once regardless of program or activity duration.

• Advertising activities may NOT include products or services that compete with 3M Window Film.

The deadline for Co-Op submissions is December 30, 2019.
