Implementation Process

3M provides Memphis Public with a quote for agreed upon replacement Detection Systems

Memphis Public provides 3M with a Purchase Order (P.O.) for Detection Systems

Lead Time until delivery is typically 30 days from the date the P.O. is received

Once Detection Systems are delivered to each library, a selected Memphis Public go-to person will call 3M to schedule disassembly and installation

Implementation Process

3M Technician will disassemble current Detection Systems and install new Detection Systems Disassembly Time – 1 ½ - 2 ½ hours (estimate) Installation – 2 hours (estimate)

3M Technician will review how Detection System works with each Branch Manger

Trucking company will call 1 – 2 days prior to delivery to confirm delivery time at each branch

Carpeting issues once current systems are removed
