Maya Complete Training is a DEEP IMMERSION in the

amazing world of the 3D Animation, 120 HOURS of

classes inside our facilities creating 3D Models, Charac-

ters, environments and Effects. Also the student must

dedicate at least 80 hours of homework and practice.

This is an INTENSIVE JOB TRAINING, is your opportu-

nity to take a place in the Multimedia and Video Games

industry. IN SMALL GROUPS OF 5 STUDENTS, you will

start from scratch and develop several projects to create

your own Portfolio.

Throughout the Course, YOU RECEIVE FIVE AUTODESK

CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION; also you will be able

to apply for the Autodesk Professional Certification on

our Autodesk Certification Center.

Objectives

The objective of the Maya Complete Training is start from

scratch and teaches all Maya specialties. At the end of the

training the students will learn the necessary tools to

work in the industry of film, TV and video games:

• Rigid Modeling, Nurbs, organic Modeling, Character

modeling, environments

• Use and create textures, advance texturing

• UV Mapping and unwrapping techniques

• Lighting techniques using Mental Ray

• Walkthrough, general animation, Character Animation

• Particle systems, nucleus for nCloth, nHair, rigid and

soft bodies.

Ray Material.

• Learn to pay attention to detail in the environment to

replicate real world wear and usage to replicate them

in Maya.

• Develop complex material nodes to replicate hyper-

realism.

• Understand UV mapping concept and techniques.

Project 3:Environment texturing Texture an alley or similar urban

environment using photographs.

MODULE 4:Course Overview:ADVANCED UV MAPPING TECHNIQUES

Student Outcomes: • Gain a greater understanding of UV mapping and UV

unwrapping techniques for complex objects.

• Apply textures to hard and organic models.

• Learn the process to convert the 3D model on a flat

surface to be textured in Photoshop and then be

converted back to 3D.

Student Outcomes: • Understand the transitional applications between

Maya and Mudbox.

• Learn this basic powerful tool to improve you 3d

models model detail and texturing

• Recognize Mudbox digital sculpting functions and

brushes. Use Mudbox as an advance tool to add

extraordinary detail to your basic models.

• Use Mudbox advanced topology and polygon

reduction tools to improve your models.

Face model Model and texture a realistic face using the

tools learned in this module.

MODULE 6:Course Overview: LIGHTING TECHNIQUES

Student Outcomes: • Understand the different lights that exist in Maya

and when to use each of them.

• Build a superior understating of Maya’s mental ray

lighting systems.

• Use Advanced lighting techniques such as Final

Gather, HDRI & GI Lighting.

MODULE 11:Course Overview: ADVANCED RENDER & RENDER LAYERS

Student Outcomes: • Build a superior understating of Maya integrated

render engines. • Develop a render pipeline to render different chan-

nels that will be composited later during post

production.

• Understand the concepts of render layers and render

MODULE 12:Course Overview: AFTER EFFECTS: POST PRODUCTION AND COMPOSITING

Student Outcomes: • Learn the basic techniques of composition of your

Maya scenes in After Effects • Understand After Effects Basic Workflows for

compositing 3d rendered images • Render a color corrected scene using all the layers

and render passes that came out of Maya • Recognize how to layer a composition in after effects.

Project_10: Postproduction and compositing Use different compositing techniques create a color corrected animation using all the render passes from after effects.
