Event Overview Founded in 1941 as the Northwestern College of Chiropractic, Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU, Northwestern) in Bloomington, MN, has grown in size and influence in the practice of natural health care in Minnesota and beyond. Northwestern offers diverse academic programs, fosters clinical research, promotes individualized instruction, provides faculty development, and establishes standards for clinical competence. Even now with nearly 1,000 students, Northwestern holds to its founder, Dr. John B. Wolfe’s vision—a high-quality, science-based education that prepares practitioners for the ever-growing field of integrative health care. NWHSU’s mission is to prepare and serve the next generation of professionals and leaders to become vital contributors to the delivery and advancement of health care.
