3 RD FUNCTION VALVE INSTALLATION MANUAL

Assemble 3rd function valve:Install fittings in Port A& B. Use two of PN# 811-636C (AD 9/16 STRAIT UNION) Install two of PN# 811-467C (Male tips) on other side of straight union.

Other side of valve: locate port P & T. Install PN# 811-416C (EL 45 9/16 MJIC 9/16 MORB)one on each port.

Attach 48” hose PN# 841-563C to “P” port fitting.

Attach 62” hose PN# 811-253C to “T” port fitting.

Assemble Valve Mount Plate:Assemble Valve Mount Bracket and Valve offset Bracket using 2 (HHCS ¼-20X1 GR5) bolts and 2 (Whiz nut ¼-20 PLT) nuts.

Assemble Valve Mount Support Strap to Valve Mount Bracket with 1 (HHCS ¼-20X1 GR5) bolt and 1 (Whiz nut ¼-20 PLT) nuts.

Insert 2 (HHCS M18X2.5X100 DIN933 FTHD) bolts

Install 2 spacer tubes.

Long one on top bolt.

Short one routes through the Valve Mount Support Bracket. (Note Insert)

Attach Third Function Valve to the Valve Offset Bracket using 2 (HSHCS ¼-20 X 7/8) bolts)

Install Valve Mount Bracket:

Position valve, male tips up.Attach PN# 380-165D (Valve Mount Bracket) to loader support frame with 2 (HHCS M18X2.5X100 DIN933 FTHD) bolts, 2 ¾ USS PLT FLAT WASHER) and 2 (M18X2.5 HEX NUT).

Tighten to correct torque.

Disconnect wiring harness (multiple locations) and unplug seat switch.

Then remove seat and support frame.

Chock tires and jack up the RH rear of tractor, place a jack stand under axle. Remove tire.Remove the seat and then the bolts from the seat support bracket (both sides) and remove for access to the top of the return tank fitting.

Locate the steel tube from the Power Beyond and remove.

Install 48” Hose (841-563C) from the Power Beyond and routed under the tractor to the “P” port. Secure hose with cable ties.

Install adapter (811-133C) 9/16MJIC ¾ MORB and elbow (811-169C) EL 9/16MJIC 9/16 FJIC.

Install with Elbow (851-768C) EL 3/8MBSPP 9/16MJIC.

Attach the 62” hose (811-253C) from the “T” port to this location. Secure hoses with cable ties.

Route hose to front and down through frame for seat clearance.

Re-attach seat support stud then install the seat support and the seat.

Install Bulkhead bracket (380-223D) to torque tube of loader with U-bolt 3/8-16X3 5/8 RND) and 2 (HEX WHIZ NUT 3/8-16) nuts.

Install 2 of 851-267C (bulkhead fitting) one in each hole of bracket, as shown. Jam nuts are used to hold them secure fittings to the bracket.

Attach 2 male tips (841-467C) to front side.

Attach 2 (851-350C) 72” shielded hoses to JIC side. Run other end of hoses to valve.

Route hoses along loader arm and through loader loop bracket. Secure where needed with cable ties.

Install 2 female tips (841-466C) on hoses and connect to valve. Route hoses along loader arm

and through loader loop bracket. Secure where needed with cable ties.

Install 2 female tips (841-466C) on hoses and connect to valve.

Remove loader knob (pulls off) assemble handle as pictured. Attach handle to stem, make sure wire harness clears set screws. Run wiring down stem (zip tie) to valve wiring harness.

The two Red (+) wires from the Control Handle will attach to Fuse Holder. Install supplied 10 AMP fuse, attach to Positive (+)battery post.

The two Black wires from Control Handle will need attached to pig tail from the Valve. Connect one Black to Black and one Black to White. (Butt connectors are not supplied). Secure all wiring with cable ties.

Fuse Holder

Check the following:

Start tractor and check for leaks.

Check tractor hydraulic levels, add as needed.

Check to make sure 3rd function valve energizes and the indicator light on the front correspond to the button being pushed.

If not engaging check the fuse , if it is blown check the wires to make sure the set screws are not pinching the wires.
