AN ACT TO AMEND THE PETROLEUM EQUALIZATION FUND (MANAGEMENT 

BOARD, ETC.) ACT CAP. 352 LAWS OF THE FEDERATION OF NIGERIA, BYINSERTION 

OF A NEWSECTION AND THE WORD "ADVISER "

ENACTEDby the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria—  

1. The Petroleum Equalization Fund (Management Board etc.) Act Cap.

352 Laws of i»e Federation of Nigeria, 1990 (hereinafter in this Act referred

to as "the Principal Act") is amended as set out in this Act. 

2. The Principal Act is amended by Inserting immediately after Subsection

Service to @) °f Section 4 a sew Section—4A (1) AH employees appointed 

n  ' pursuant to Section 4 Subsection (3) shall be subject to terms and

conditions of service (including terms and conditions as to

remuneration, allowances, discipline, retirement and medical

benefits) such as may be determined by the Board with the approval

of the Minister or the Adviser. 

(2) The Board may subject to such conditions as it may think fit delegate

any of its powers relating 10 the appointment of or disciplinary control

(including dismissal) over its employees, to the Secretary or any other employee

to the Secretary or any other employee of the Board.

(3) All employees appointed pursuant to Section 4 Subsection (3) shall

have the same rights and obligations as the members of the Public Service

defined by Section 24 of the Pensions, Act.

3. The Principal Act is amended by Inserting immediately after the word

"Minister" the words "or the adviser" where ever the word "Minister" appears.

4. Section 13 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting immediately
