Getting Started with On-DemandMeeting Service Moderator/Host :1- Inform all participants of the date and
time of the meeting and provideparticipants with your Access Numberand Meeting Number.
2- Dial your Access Number. 3- You will be prompted to dial your
Meeting Number, preceded andfollowed by the star key ( ).
4- You will then be prompted to enteryour PIN code, preceded and followedby the star key ( ).
5- You are now ready to begin yourmeeting.
Note: Please keep your PIN code private.
Participants:1- At the designated meeting time,
participants dial the Access Number.2- You will be prompted to dial the
Meeting Number, preceded andfollowed by the star key ( ).
3- The PIN code is not required forparticipants.
4- Optionally, the moderator can dial outto participants by following theinstructions below.

On-Demand Features and CommandsAs the moderator/host you can keep yourmeeting running smoothly by using thefollowing features. These features can beactivated using a touch-tone telephone.

Open conference but keep 'door' locked: PIN code + 7Lock/unlock meeting room 'door': 7Let participants in, one by one from the 'waiting room': 1
Three audible beeps will alert themoderator that a participant is in the'waiting room'.
Mute/Un-mute ParticipantsMute all participants: 51Un-mute all participants: 52
Participant Self-mute Ask participants to use the self-mutefeature if they are in a noisy environment.

Our fully automated & on-demand audioconferencing integrates with our easy-to-use web conferencing service, turning yourtelephone and desktop computer into a universal communications tool. You canconduct phone meetings and share reliable and secure PowerPoint® slides, shareapplications, quizzes and survey participants, even lead a web tour – all with the sameimpact and results as a face-to-face meeting. Now you can meet more productively,and more often without the time and expense of travel.
Also, if you are hosting a special event with a remote audience, and require theassistance of a conference coordinator, our event conferencing solutions will meetyour needs. At BellSouth® we’re committed to making your conferencing meetingexperiences productive, efficient and successful.
Tips for a Successful MeetingBelow are some helpful hints for conducting an efficient and productive On-DemandMeeting.
Enter the meeting early to ensure participants can access your meeting at the scheduled start time.
Specify the time zone in meeting invites to avoid meeting delays and confusion.
Speak clearly and use a high qualityspeaker phone.
Avoid placing your line on hold in order toprevent ‘music on hold’ being played in theconference.
Mute all participants in non-collaborative meetings to minimize background noise.

Web ConferencingUse this as a guide for Web Meeting Service
Schedule a Web Meeting In AdvanceIntegrating our easy-to-use Web Meetingwith our fully automated On-DemandMeeting lets you conduct a moreproductive and efficient meeting bysharing visual information, real-time fromyour desktop computer. You can scheduleyour web conference instantly or inadvance.
1- Go to http://bellsouth.conferencing.com,select Start a Meeting.
2- Enter your Meeting Number and PIN and click Log In. (The key is not required).
3- Click Schedule a Meeting button andfollow the steps through the schedulingwizard.
4- Click Finish and your participants willreceive an email invitation that includesthe information they need to access your web meeting.
Through Microsoft Outlook®:1- In the Microsoft Outlook® calendar
view, click on Actions and select 'NewMeeting Center Event'.
2- Schedule your meeting and includeyour Meeting Center information in the Meeting Center tab (your PIN willnot be shared with participants).
3- Click Send and your participants willreceive a Microsoft Outlook® meetingrequest with instructions on how toaccess your web meeting
Note: To download the MicrosoftOutlook® Calendar Control, log into Web Meeting. From the Main Menu, clickSetup/Tools.
Access a Scheduled Web MeetingModerator/Host:1- Go to http://bellsouth.conferencing.com,
and select Start a Meeting.2- Find your meeting in the Main Menu
and click Start.3- Once the interface has loaded, you
will be prompted to dial into the audio portion of your call.
Participants:1- Click on the link provided in the
email invitation or go tohttp://bellsouth.conferencing.com and click Join a Meeting.
2- Once the interface has loaded, participants will be prompted to dial into the audio portion of your meeting.
Note: Unless joining via the link in theemail invitation, all meeting participantsmust enter a unique Security Code ontheir telephone keypad to synchronizetheir audio with the web connection.
Start an Instant Web MeetingYou can start an instant web meeting atany time.
1- Go to http://bellsouth.conferencing.com,and select Start a Meeting.
2- Enter your Meeting Number and PIN. 3- In the Main Menu, click GO next to
Quick Meeting.4- Direct participants to
http://bellsouth.conferencing.com and click on Join a Meeting. Participantswill be prompted to type in yourMeeting Number and their name.
Desktop Computer (PC) Requirements:All participants should perform a browsercheck (included in the meeting invitation)to ensure there are no firewall issuesbefore the conference.
Dial Out to Participants1- Follow steps 1-3 under Start an
Instant Web Meeting.2- Click on the Dial icon , select Dial
Participants, and enter the name and number of the person to call.
3- Click Add Participant, highlight the name and then click Dial.
Add'l Security/Lock the MeetingThe moderator can screen participantsvia the 'waiting room', then providethem access to the meeting one at atime.
From the toolbar, click the Lock/UnlockMeeting icon to close and open the meeting to attendees.
Note: By default the door to the meetingis set to 'Open' (unlocked). Change yourdefault preferences to 'Door Closed' bygoing to Setup/Preferences from the MainMenu and checking the box 'AlwaysOpen Meetings with Door Closed.'
Audio Status IconsThe moderator can always see the audiostatus of the participants through theweb interface.
Status icons:
Standard Audio icon. The participant(or moderator) is currently in the main audio meeting room.
Active Speaker icon. The participantis currently speaking, or it may indicate background noise coming from this line.
Muted line icon. The participant cannot be heard when his/her line is muted.
Sub-Conference icon. The participant(or moderator) is currently in the sub-conference, or breakout room.
Ghost Icon. The participant has disconnected from the meeting.
Audio Conference Controls via the On-Line Interface
Mute/Un-mute Participants 1- Click on the Audio icon to mute or
un-mute each participant. 2- You can also mute or un-mute all
participants at once. Select Tools fromthe top menu, then Mute/Mute All.
Q&AThe moderator can initiate a Q&Asession where participants request theright to speak by using their touchtonetelephones.1- Click on the Q&A icon . Your
participants will be informed that their lines have been muted.
2- Instruct your participants to hit the key to indicate that they would like
to ask a question. 3- Click on the raised hand in order to
give the floor to the participant.
Note: The first participant in line will have a highlighted hand icon .
Close the Meeting1- Click the Close Meeting icon on the
top menu, or click File and Dismiss All Participants, then Log Off and Close Conference.
2- Confirm that you want to close the meeting.
Contact Technical Support1- Click on the Dial icon and select
Customer Service (moderators only).2- Click Dial Customer Service.
Show a PresentationBefore the meeting1- From the Main Menu, under
Conferencing, select Resources, then Presentations.
2- Click Upload a Presentation.3- Name the presentation, then browse
to select the presentation you want toupload.
4- Select the resolution for your presentation and click Upload Presentation.
Tip: You can access Upload a Presentationfrom within a Web Meeting by clickingon the PowerPoint® icon .
At the time of your meetingOnce logged into Web Meeting, selectyour presentation from the pull-downmenu on the Slides tab. It will loadautomatically.1- Click the forward and back buttons to
navigate through your presentation.2- Double-click on a slide title to
proceed directly to a particular slide.
COLLABORATION & OTHER FEATURES
Share an ApplicationClick on the Share tab in the navigation bar.1- Select the application(s) you would
like to show to participants.2- Alternatively, click Share Desktop and
go to the document you would like to show via the Task Bar.
Note: When application sharing is active,the Web Meeting navigation bar ishidden behind the document you aresharing.
Survey/Quizzes/Voting1- From the Main Menu, find Survey
[Quizzes/Voting] under Conferencing, then Resources.
2- Click Create New Survey [Quiz/Vote] and make your selections.
3- During the meeting, go to File, then Open and launch your Survey [Quiz/Vote].
4- After the meeting, review the results from the Survey [Quiz] under Conferencing, then Reports.
Upload a picture or other imageto broadcast in a meeting1- From the Main Menu, go to
Conferencing/Resources/Images.2- Click Upload Image.3- During the meeting, go to File/Open
to display the image.
ArchivingOn the Web Meeting Tool Bar, go toFile/Record.1- Name the archive and click Start (allow
up to 30 seconds for the recording to start).
2- Minimize the recording window during your meeting
3- To stop the recording, click on the Recording field at the bottom of the navigation bar.
4- Click Stop.5- After your meeting you will find your
Archive in the Main Menu, under Conferencing/Resources.
ReportsWeb Meeting Service stores detailedreports from scheduled as well as QuickMeetings, with information on duration of the call, number of participants, whoaccepted and declined the invitation aswell as Survey or Quiz results.
Access Reports from the Main Menu, under Conferencing/Reports.
