License Grant. In consideration of payment of the license fee, which is part of the price you paid for this Lab-Volt product, Lab-Volt, as Licensor, grants to you, the Licensee, a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use this copy of the CD-ROM software with the corresponding Family & Consumer Sciences module. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Limited Warranty and Disclaimer This CD-ROM software has been designed to assure correct operation when used in the manner and within the limits described in this Instructor Guide. As a highly advanced software product, it is quite complex; thus, it is possible that if it is used in hardware configurations with characteristics other than those specified in this Instructor Guide or in environments with non-specified, unusual, or extensive other software products, problems may be encountered by a user. In such cases, Lab-Volt will make reasonable efforts to assist the user to properly operate the CD-ROM but without guaranteeing its proper performance in any hardware or software environment other than as described in this Instructor Guide. STUDENT GUIDE INTRODUCTION
This Student Guide/Portfolio follows the same order as the module multimedia presentation. It is divided into lessons. In each lesson you will find: • a to-do list • a study guide outline • data sheets (worksheets) • video response sheets • rubrics The to-do list helps you keep track of all the work you do. The study guide outline will help you to take notes as you read the lesson. You can use this to study for the lesson quiz. You can use all the lesson outlines to study for the posttest. Data sheets are worksheets. You will answer questions or write down the details of your projects. Rubrics are guidelines that your teacher will use to give you a grade for your work. They may also help your teacher grade an activity you are asked to do. The list in your student guide will help you get ready for the rubric activity. Video response sheets are worksheets that go with the videos you will watch. After you watch a video, answer the questions on the video response sheet.
