Vertical length measuring devices are 1-coordinate measuringdevices, which have a test plate, preferably made of naturalstone, as measuring basis. The TESA-HITE below shows thattest plates and vertical length measuring equipment can be onesingle measuring device. Vertical length measuring devices arethe multi-purpose tools for measuring station of single machinesor machine groups for measurements during installation as wellas for random inspections for monitoring the ongoing production,especially the workpiece dimensions which are critical when itcomes to production and function. Almost anyone can use TESA-HITE and TESA MICRO-HITEwithin a short period of time, no matter whether they are manuallyoperated or motorised. Especially trained personnel is notnecessary.
SCS-calibration certificateThe new devices TESA-HITE and TESA MICRO-HITE alsobrought with them a new laboratory, certified by the Schweizeri-sche Akkreditierungsstelle (Swiss certification agency). This is
why each vertical TESA length measuring equipment comes witha free-of-charge SCS-calibration certificate. Full air-conditioning(20 +/- 0,1 °C) and extremely accurate stepped gauge blocksguarantee for extremely small measuring divergences duringcalibration.- The first step is to record the deviations in measurements of the
measuring instrument. by means of CAA (Computer AidedAccuracy) correctional values are calculated in order to reducethe systematic portion of the deviations in measurements.
- For the automatic correction of the measured value during themeasurements, the individual correctional values are stored inthe memory of the respective measuring instrument.
- The measuring results which are documented in the SCS-cali-bration certificate are determined by finalising series of measu-rements by means of another calibration device, which is alsoequipped with stepped gauge blocks. The used calibrationmethod and the SCS-calibration certificate guarantee thetraceability of every vertical TESA length measuring equipmentto the national reference.

Mobile data recording instruments MINITERM M1
CApplication Handy, easy-to-operate input device for mobilerecording of measured values in quality assuran-ce. With pressing a single button, measured valuesof digital manual measuring instrument with Opto RS232 or Digimatic interface can be transmitted to thenon-volatile data memory. The values to be measu-red are distributed to one of the up to 12 datamemories according to the testing plan. The operation is simplified by using the functionalityRecording in relation to characteristic or part.When the number of parts or characteristics ispreset, the memory is allocated automatically. Storage of up to 6000 measured values (plus dateand time per measured value), independentoperation up to 24 hours.
2 possibilities for the transmission to a processingsystem: 1. Connecting the MINITERM M1 by means of an
interface (e.g. cat.-no. 35151 or 35156) andtransmitting the measured values to the PC.
