2.1 RRU Install Position Principle
If have space on mast/ tower, each sector install 2 RRUs, one is 3G RRU,
another is 4G RRU
If no enough space on mast/ tower, 3 RRUs can be combined, they are same
frequency . the other 3RRUs also be combined.
One RRU is 1800M_4Ganother is 2100M_3G

2.5 AC input power cable installation
16
Procedure:
Lay out an AC input power cable, and route it into the cabinet through thecable hole in the left part of the cabinet bottom.
Find a spare(or new purchase and install) 3*25A(there-phase 25A) AC circuitbreaker in AC box.
Secure the AC input power cable to the corresponding AC input circuit breakers
and terminal.
Installing AC Input Power Cables
Note:
If the AC box cant reuse or re-install 3*25A breaker, only allow to
use single-phase breaker(at least 1*10A) for temporary pre-
commissioning of BTS/MW, But should turn off the existing power
system before swapping, and relocate Huawei power system AC
INPUT to three-phase circuit breaker(3*25A).

17
Procedure:
Installing Batteries
Remove the insulation cover from thebatteries.
Install copper bars between batteries.
Reinstall the insulation covers onto thetwo batteries in the middle.
Take negative battery cables from the left side of the battery compartment, and
connect the cables to negative battery terminals.
After you install all negative battery cables, take positive battery cables from the
right side of the battery compartment, and connect the cables to positive batteryterminals.
Reinstall the insulation covers onto the batteries on the left and right sides.
Install batteries into thebattery compartment in the
sequence.

Procedure:
Measure the input voltage on the AC input circuit breaker. The value shouldrange from 85 V AC to 300 V AC.
Switch on the AC input circuit breaker and measure the output voltage of theAC input circuit breaker. The value should range from 85 V AC to 300 V AC.
Check that the indicators on the rectifiers are steady on.
Measure the voltage between the -48 V busbar and the RTN+ busbar. The valueshould range from -42 V DC to -58 V DC.

3.4 How to measure the azimuth of ANT
Step1: Make the mid-line of compass is same with thedirection of Antenna
Azimut h= the red value found on the compass via theobserving hole
Record the value.
Be sure that the position of compass was put it correctly
Dont test on the tower
Keep more than 2 meters from the tower
Keep the compass in horizontal
Make the compass in same direction with target
antenna
Record and call OMC to confirm the azimuth value of all the sectors
Read the Red number from the observewindow (the first number)
Make the compass same direction withantenna
horizontal

3.5 How to adjust the down-tilt of ANT
This small triangle using todefine mechanical down tilt
The HW Tri-band antenna length is 2.6 meters, should set mechanical tiltaccording to the marker of L=2.6
