OUR NATIONAL GUARD FAMILY!!!Here at CSSB the word family truly matters to us! I've always felt that the people in this unit wereone big family, and it's an honor to carry on this unit's tradition of taking care of its people like family. We say 'mission first, family always, and it's true because when our families and our personal lives are in

order we can effectively set ourselves to accomplishing the great mission set before us.

Without you and the continued support of families like yours, the mission success of this great Nation andState would not be possible. Not only do we owe a great deal of thanks to our soldiers for their continued

service to both community and nation, but we at 345 are eternally grateful for the sacrifice, dedicationand support of our soldiers families. The support and encouragement of our loved ones mean the world to

the soldiers serving in this unit and we intend on doing as much as possible to provide support to our

    guard families.

During the July drill weekend CSSB hosted a Community/Open House event for

both members of the Ardmore community & surrounding area as well as soldiers

families to attend. This event presented an excellent opportunity for fun for the

    whole family!

Free hot dogs, burgers and refreshments were provided by the unit. The event fea-

tured some hands on military weapon, equipment and vehicle exhibits for commu-

nity members to take part in. We also had a large inflatable obstacle course and

games for children to include a dunk tank and football toss.
