Dear Friend and Sponsor, The Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (“KALAGNY”) cordially invites you to our 33rd Anniversary Gala, which will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Gotham Hall in the city of New York. KALAGNY is a volunteer professional membership organization of attorneys, law students, and legal professionals in the tri-state area. We seek to encourage the professional growth of our members as well as serve the Korean American community. We engage our membership and the community through our legal education programs, advocacy efforts, mentorship program, pro bono commitment, community outreach, and networking. Our Gala is our tribute to KALAGNY’s achievements, and it serves as our main fundraising event annually. The event attracts well over 350 distinguished guests and members, including judges, general counsels and in-house attorneys, prosecutors, partners and associates at private law firms, professors and law students. We hope that you will join us as we celebrate this 33rd year. 2019 KALAGNY STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

KALAGNY will present a law student member who has demonstrated outstanding commitment and support to KALAGNY and the Korean American community with its Ninth Annual KALAGNY Law Student Scholarship Award at the Gala. Law students interested in applying for the Scholarship Award should check the KALAGNY website and/or the newsletter for announcements regarding the 2019 application.

Contributions*

Contributions can be made on KALAGNY’s website (www.kalagny.org) on its “Donate to KALAGNY” page. Please note in the provided space that the donation is intended for the Student Scholarship in order to ensure proper allocation.
