SCSI Small Computer System Interface. There are three SCSI-2 interfaces available: Single-ended, Differential, and Fast and Wide.

Supports SCSI disks, DDS tape drives, CD-ROM drives, MO drives, quarter inch cartridges

(QIC), 8mm tapes and IBM 3480-compatible drives

MUX Multiplexer. Supports serial terminals, printers, plotters, modems, and Access Port.

LAN/9000 Local Area Network. For IEEE 802.3 and Ethernet networks.

SCSI Device Power Up Guidelines

• DO NOT– Connect or disconnect any device while the system is

running– Turn power on or off to any device while the system

is powered-up

• DO– Power on and complete self-tests on all peripherals

before powering on SPU– Change bus addresses with device powered off
