T3 Shooter Lane Switch Actuator Adjustment
The Auto Launch Coilfires repeatedly causing damage tothe coil and possibly the Q2 Drive Transistorlocated on theI/O Power Driver Board (above J8 Connector, bottom right).
The Shooter Lane Switch Actuator is adjusted too high. This makes it possible for the AutoLaunch Plunger to hit the switch actuator which causes a switch closure. The CPUthen repeatedlyenergizes the coil every time it reads a Shooter Lane Switch Closure. The coil then overheats andmay damage the Q2 Drive Transistor.
Adjust the switch actuator down so the Auto Launch Plunger fully extended (use finger)will clear thtop of the actuator.
While inspecting the Auto Launch Assembly, ensure that the coil wires are not pulled too tight whiccan cause breakage at the lugs due to vibration. Create more slack by gently pulling the wires fromthe harness.
