This KVM Switch makes the best use of available rack space by providing all the necessary features in a compact 1U case that fits in a standard 19 inch cabinet. Conserve valuable server room space while eliminating unnecessary consoles and cable clutter. In addition, the five available interface modules used in conjunction with the 32-Port KVM Switch are compact and lightweight and easily fit in tight spaces. Multi-User Support Tripp Lite's 32-Port KVM Switch is the optimal solution for simultaneously controlling multiple computers (a combination of PS/2, USB, or Sun) by up to four independent users. Each user's USB or PS/2 console (keyboard, video and mouse) connects to the KVM Switch via either a USB or PS/2 Console Interface Module (B062-001-USB and B062-001-PS2), which can be placed up to 500 feet away from the KVM Switch using Category 5e patch cables. This gives users the ability to conveniently monitor and control an entire network from a distant location. USB, PS/2 and Sun Server Interface Modules (B054-001-USB, B054-001-PS2 and B054-001-SUN) connect the KVM Switch to multiple PCs or servers, also from up to 500 feet away using Category 5e patch cables. Using connected Console Interface Modules, the 32-Port KVM Switch can control up to 32 directly connected PCs or servers (or up to 4,096 PCs or servers when additional 32-Port and/or 16-Port KVM Switches are connected through a combination of daisy-chaining and cascading). Convenient & Easy Operation A number of convenient, user-friendly features included with the 32-Port KVM Switch make it easy to install and operate. Simple plug-and-play setup requires no complicated software and hot-pluggable capability allows you to add or remove PCs or servers without powering down the KVM Switch or other computers. Selecting an individual port is made easy by using pre- programmed hotkeys or On-Screen Display (OSD) menus. The OSD menus can also be used for all PC and server control and switching. Every time a PC or server is connected to the KVM Switch via one of its ports, the OSD port list automatically expands, and the port names are automatically reconfigured when the station sequence is changed. Superior video quality of up to 1024 x 768 pixels at 500 feet and 1920 x 1440 pixels at normal cable distances combined with Auto Signal Compensation (ASC) assures optimum video resolution for long distances between the KVM Switch and the interface modules or computers. “Keep Alive” feature ensures that the connected keyboard and mouse work properly even if the switch temporarily loses power. Convenient flash-upgradeable firmware supports the introduction of any new input/output device connected to the 32-Port KVM Switch. Full Scalability, Compatibility & Security As your network expands, you can daisy- chain up to seven additional 32-Port KVM Switches and cascade up to 16 additional 16-Port KVM Switches (B022-016) from each station on the chain to gain control of up to 4,096 connected PCs or servers (see Daisy-Chain Configuration Guide on reverse side). The 32-Port KVM Switch is compatible with all major operating systems and the Console Interface Modules support most keyboards and mice. The 32-Port KVM Switch maintains strict security over the largest installations with a three-level password security feature that accommodates a super administrator, administrator and multiple users. Ultra-Compact SizeTripp Lite's 32-Port/4-User NetDirector

Matrix KVM Switch (B060-032) provides

superior space savings designed for large

network environments where rack space is

at a premium. This KVM Switch makes the

best use of available rack space by

providing all the necessary features in a

compact 1U case that fits in a standard

19 inch cabinet. Conserve valuable server

room space while eliminating unnecessary

consoles and cable clutter. In addition,

the five available interface modules used

in conjunction with the 32-Port KVM Switch

are compact and lightweight and easily fit

in tight spaces.

Multi-User SupportTripp Lite's 32-Port KVM Switch is the

optimal solution for simultaneously

controlling multiple computers (a

combination of PS/2, USB, or Sun) by up to

four independent users. Each user's USB or

PS/2 console (keyboard, video and mouse)

connects to the KVM Switch via either a

USB or PS/2 Console Interface Module

(B062-001-USB and B062-001-PS2), which

can be placed up to 500 feet away from the

KVM Switch using Category 5e patch cables.

This gives users the ability to conveniently

monitor and control an entire network from

a distant location. USB, PS/2 and Sun

Server Interface Modules (B054-001-USB,

B054-001-PS2 and B054-001-SUN) connect

the KVM Switch to multiple PCs or servers,

also from up to 500 feet away using

Category 5e patch cables. Using connected

Console Interface Modules, the 32-Port KVM

Switch can control up to 32 directly

connected PCs or servers (or up to 4,096

PCs or servers when additional 32-Port

and/or 16-Port KVM Switches are connected

through a combination of daisy-chaining

and cascading).

Convenient & EasyOperationA number of convenient, user-friendly

features included with the 32-Port KVM

Switch make it easy to install and operate.

Simple plug-and-play setup requires no

complicated software and hot-pluggable

capability allows you to add or remove PCs

or servers without powering down the KVM

Switch or other computers. Selecting an

individual port is made easy by using pre-

programmed hotkeys or On-Screen Display

(OSD) menus. The OSD menus can also be

used for all PC and server control and

switching. Every time a PC or server is

connected to the KVM Switch via one of its

expands, and the port names are

automatically reconfigured when the station

sequence is changed. Superior video quality

of up to 1024 x 768 pixels at 500 feet and

1920 x 1440 pixels at normal cable

distances combined with Auto Signal

Compensation (ASC) assures optimum video

resolution for long distances between the

KVM Switch and the interface modules or

computers. “Keep Alive” feature ensures

that the connected keyboard and mouse

work properly even if the switch temporarily

loses power. Convenient flash-upgradeable

firmware supports the introduction of any

new input/output device connected to the

32-Port KVM Switch.

Full Scalability,Compatibility & SecurityAs your network expands, you can daisy-

chain up to seven additional 32-Port KVM

Switches and cascade up to 16 additional

16-Port KVM Switches (B022-016) from each

station on the chain to gain control of up

to 4,096 connected PCs or servers (see

Daisy-Chain Configuration Guide on reverse

side). The 32-Port KVM Switch is compatible

with all major operating systems and the

Console Interface Modules support most

Premium Features & Easy OperationTripp Lite's IP Remote Access Unit

(B050-000) combines digital remote

KVM access via IP networks with

comprehensive and integrated system

management. The IP Remote Access Unit

offers convenient remote KVM access

and control through LAN or Internet

communications. It captures, digitizes,

and compresses video data and transmits

it with keyboard and mouse signals

to and from a remote computer. The

IP Remote Access Unit and software runs

on embedded processors only, and not

on mission-critical servers, so that there

is no interference with server operation or

even impact on the network performance.

The IP Remote Access Unit works with a

KVM Switch for access to multiple remote

servers over a single remote console. This

allows network administrators to manage

and monitor server components from any

station connected to the network, even if

the network is down, and allows them to

work in any remote location. Through TCP/IP

communication protocol, network

administrators can perform a variety of

tasks including system administration

and maintenance, BIOS level troubleshooting,

installing and running GUI applications,

routine monitoring, rebooting and more.

The IP Remote Access Unit requires no

additional software, making it easy to

install and operate. Security is of no

concern with advanced security features

including password protection, certificate

management and 256 SSL encryption on

keyboard, video and mouse. In addition,

Tripp Lite's IP Remote Access Unit offers

high video resolutions of up to 1280 x 1024

pixels at 60Hz.
