Since 2008, our campaigns have
Reached out to hundreds of people across Chennai through our activities, and even more, online.
Engaged new organisations, communities, individuals and professional groups every year in this work.
Used a variety of media and programme formats to spread awareness, share information and frame discussions on gender violence.

What do our campaigns achieve? Open conversations on gender violence
where they would not otherwise happen. Take knowledge about rights and laws to
new audiences. Train people on how to respond to
violence, experienced by themselves and others.
Highlight linkages between other social realities and gender violence.
Engage new groups of people every year in working to end the silence and the violence.

With your help, we can continue this work in 2014
The ` 300,000/- we are asking for will cover the following costs that we anticipate:
16 days of programming and activities estimated at ` 10,000/- per day.
The salary of the Campaign Coordinator and the stipend of the Media Associate.
Materials, including handouts that we use.
http://www.prajnya.in
If we raise ` 300,000/- between April 13 and May 31, 2014,
we can enter campaign planning season confident that we have the resources to
execute the programmes and activities we want.

The support of individuals is vital to work like ours.
Each person who contributes in any way—through money, time, resources, knowledge, networks—is saying,
“I share these ideals and I value this work.”
http://www.prajnya.in
When we count our supporters, we take a census of those who believe
that it is time to move towards a violence-free, gender-just world.
This is social change. You make it happen with your support.
