What to send, whenDay 1: Welcome

First impressions count, so your freebie delivery email actually has a deceptively big job to do.

Beyond the 'Get your download' link, it needs to introduce: ** Who you are ** What you stand for ** What to expect in your emails ** Why you're the one to listen to

You can split that message over 2 emails if you like, with one to deliver the freebie (shows you keep your word), and another to introduce yourself properly.

Day 2-5. Nurture emails

(Daily) Use these to show how well you understand your new subscriber. Link them to blog posts that did well, videos that will help them...it's time to repurpose content. Your new subscriber hasn't seen it before, so don't worry about using old posts - so long as they're still relevant.

Day 7+. Sales emails As required. You can send flash sales, big launch emails, discovery call offers...almost anything really. You can sell earlier than day 7 as a 'soft' sell, but save the big sale push until after your new subscriber has finished their nurture week.

Name = For your info only

When to send = For your info only

Subject options = Choose one that you like, tweak it to fit your branding and personality

Core content = Tweak the tone & personality to fit your brand, or change completely. All core content serves a purpose though, so if you're swapping it out, try and keep the general idea of what's provided.

Prompts = Places for you to 'fill in the gaps'. They're easy spots to add your product name, choose the right word, add your known customer pain points etc, as well as links or a personal sign off.

As with any pre-written script, take a moment before hitting send to make sure

everything makes sense once you've customized it.

Especially, be on the lookout for leftover words - eg 'Your life/business is about to get. Leave in just one option.

And general whoopsies like 'I created this for you because' - is your offer a multiple 'these', not a singular this?
