Day 1 one personal narrative (tells a true story about something that has happened to
you) multiple choice revising and editing questions
Day 2 one expository piece in which students will
explain their views upon a topic with
supporting evidence to their claim multiple choice revising and

R - remove unneeded words/sentences
M – move sentences or words
S – substitute words/sentences
EditingC – capitalization (names, titles, I, etc.)
U - usage (subject/verb agreement)
P – punctuation (commas, quotation marks, periods, etc.)
S – spelling
Three Performance Levels:
Student compositions are read by
two scorers.
Each scorer will give the students
a score point of 1 – 4.
1 is a poor score (Very Limited)
4 is the best score (Accomplished!)
