Supplier Quality Engineer: Concentric - Rockford Inc.

Reports To: Purchasing Manager / Quality Manager

Primary Duties:• Supports Purchasing and Engineering to develop alternate suppliers.• Assists Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and suppliers to implement cost reduction activities.• Engages Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and suppliers to improve processes for better quality, delivery, value, and support. • Supports Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and suppliers on timely implementation of new programs.• Develops selected suppliers to enhance and improve their capabilities and overall business relationship to meet current company expectations.• Leads the implementation and maintenance of supplier quality system procedures and work instructions.• Enhances and maintains quality system audits and the Supply Chain Improvement Program (SCIP) systems.• All other activities and duties as assigned.

Education, Certification and Experience:• Required - Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical or quality engineering.• Five years’ experience in a machine shop and/or assembly environment.• Preferred - Six Sigma Green-Belt Certification

Additional Information:This position requires domestic travel frequently and international travel occasionally.

Quality Representative: Global Department of Defense contractor

Summary: Quality Representative is responsible for assisting in maintaining quality standards as well as performing data administration and auditing activities.

Quality Engineer: Rockford, IL

Summary: Quality Engineer Will be working with the QM on making sure all documentation is in compliance with TS16949. Will be the internal auditor of business processes including production, new product development and business management systems.Will audit all PPAP and FMEA documentation but will not be doing the FMEA's themselves Company is planning on being TS16949 certified by the end of 2015.
