In 2000, the Coke Oven Repair Shop (CORS) was founded at the coke oven plant of OJSC MMK (Magnitogorsk, Russia). The experts of the CORS carried out all types of repairs of MMK's nine coke oven batteries such as brick relaying, heating up and putting into operation of the coke oven batteries No. 1-2 (1999 - 2000) and No. 3-4 (2009 — 2010). After commissioning, thermal-hydraulic regimes of the coke oven batteries were adjusted.Koksokhimnaladka LLC was founded in 2009 based on the staff of the CORS. Our experts have experience of repairing, heating up and warming-up adjustment of sections under repairs and whole coke oven batteries in Russia, China, Czech Republic, India, Bosnia and Algeria. WE HAVE EXPERIENCE OF HEATING UP COKE BATTERIES OF DIFFERENT TYPES USING VARIOUS GASES.

WE OFFER ANY KINDS OF PREVENTIVE AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE IN THE OPERATING COKE OVEN BATTERIES:1. Ceramic welding. It is made by the equipment of our own design. The main advantages of our technology are as follows: - it needs only compressed oxygen, no electricity; - very lightweight and compact design; - any powder (Fosbel, Novokos, Megatek, Fib's) can be used without compromising the quality of application; and - it is easy to maintain and repair. This technology has been used for a long time at OJSC MMK.2. Re-laying of individual elements of ovens. We have a process for re-laying of the 'head' sections of oven walls and other brickworks elements, so that junction between the 'old' and 'new' bricks is not damaged after heating up.3. Repairs and load adjustment of reinforcement devices. Timely execution of preventive and routine maintenance prevents premature decommissioning of individual coke ovens with defects.

1. While performing the adjustment of the thermal-hydraulic regime of coke oven battery heating, KHN assures the maximum achievable thermal uniformity along the coke battery length, along the length and height of oven walls and, what's more, develops a process regulation for the coke battery operations.

2. The process regulation developed in the course of adjustment of the thermal-hydraulic regime of coke oven battery heating assures satisfactory thermal distribution along the length of the coke oven battery and the oven walls during operation at various speeds (from the design speed to 1 oven per hour).

1. KHN has vast experience of reinforcement device load adjustment so that reinforcement devices within the widest range of technical conditions can be put in working order.2. KHN does not consider it necessary to continuously maintain design loads on the main and individual intermediate assemblies. 3. Correct loads for reinforcement devices must ensure the integrity of firebricks depending on their technical condition, and they do not always have to comply with the design level.
