1   Open the Start menu. Look to the lower left side of your screen, and locate the Start

icon. It looks like a circled colored window. Click on it[1].

2   Type Run in the search bar. Once you've clicked on the Start icon, look to the

bottom of the window and enter Run in the search bar [2].

3   Click on Run. After entering Run in the Start menu's search bar, look to the very top

of the window and select the program Run. A smaller window will appear, asking you

to type in the name of a program.

  Enter GPEDIT.MSC. Then click OK. This command will open up a new window

labeled Local Group Policy Editor [3]

2   Select Network. Under Administrative Templates, click on Network. Then, look to the

right side of the window, and select QoS Packets Scheduler [4].

3   Click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth. After entering QoS Packets Scheduler,

double-click on Limit Reservable Bandwidth.

4   Enter 0%. Within the Limit Reservable Bandwidth window, look under Options on the

left hand side of the window. You'll see an option to enter Bandwidth Limit. Enter 0,

then click on OK.

5   Open the Start Menu. Now, go back to Start. Once you've opened the Start menu,

look to the right side of the menu and click on Control Panel[5].

6   Click on Network and Sharing. Once you're in Control Panel, scroll down until you

see Network and Sharing. Click on it.

7   Select Change Adapter Settings. In the Network and Sharing window, you'll be able

to view your basic network information. Look to the left side of the window, and locate

Change Adapter Settings. Click on it.

1   Click on Local Area Connection. Then, scroll down to Properties, and click on it.

2   Click on Internet Protocol Version 4. Then, select Properties.

3   Change your DNS address. Under the general tab of your Internet Protocol Version

4 window, scroll down to the option Use The Following DNS Server Addresses. Click

on the circle next to it to enable this option [6].

4   Enter the following values. Under Use The Following DNS Server Addresses, you'll

see two lines of value boxes one above the other. The first one is labeled as Preferred DNS

Server, and the second is Alternate DNS Server. Enter 8.8.8.8 in the first line of boxes.

Then, enter 8.8.4.4. in the second line.
