In this third BORA Update of 2018, which coincides with the start of the area30 trade fair in Löhne, we want to provide you with more information about current updates, changes and new arrivals to our product line.

The main event: Today marks the exclusive unveiling of the new Classic 2.0 system at our area30 stand.

Introducing – The new BORA Classic 2.0Experience our new BORA Classic 2.0 system from 15 to 20 September exclusively at area30, stand E61

BORA Professional 2.0 PKFI11 and PKI11 with cooktop power displayIn the future, PKFI11 and PKI11 induction cooktops will display current power level directly on the co-oktop in addition to on the control knob, providing a simple and clear way to read this information from above. These displays will be located on the side next to the cooking zones and can be arranged to the left or right as the customer wishes thanks to the rotatable cooktop.

The PKFI11 and PKI11 cooktops with cooktop power display enter series production at the beginning of next year and will be available from February 2019.

BORA 3box wall sleeve (round)BORA is adding a modular, round UEBR model to its wall sleeve range, which can be integrated into existing, even very thin walls with even more ease.

It still includes all the benefits of existing UEBF wall sleeves, including a high-quality appearance, extremely low pressure resistance, and a purely mechanical operating mode that requires no additional power supply. The insulation value can be further optimised for use in low-energy and passive houses by means of an easily attached additional UEBRZ module. All wall sleeves can be installed quickly and easily with a standard core bore hole.

The UEBR wall sleeve and additional UEBRZ module can be ordered from January 2019. Deliveries will commence in the second quarter of 2019.

BORA UPdate

BORA Ecotube shallow duct webA new EFS750 web, which can be inserted into the EF750 shallow duct, significantly increases the stabi-lity of the duct against pressure and impact when laid in the floor structure. In most cases, the duct does not require additional protection. The web will be available as an optional accessory and can be quickly and easily inserted into the duct by the on-site installer if required.

Der Ecotube shallow duct EFS750 web can be ordered from January 2019. Deliveries will commence in the second quarter of 2019.

BORA Basic air inlet nozzle update

BORA Ecotube shallow and round duct now in 750 mm length

The BORA Ecotube shallow and round ducts are now only available to order as EF750 and ER750, with a uniform new standard length of 750 mm (instead of the previous 1,000 mm). The shortening of the ducts removes the need for the separate dispatch of the cooktop extractor system and duct elements, which was previously necessary especially for BORA Basic. You can therefore be sure that you will receive all components required for installation at the same time, thus simplifying your handling and storage logistics.

Existing orders are being fulfilled with remaining EF1000/ER1000 stock or with a guaranteed sufficient supply of new EF750/ER750 elements.

With the BORA Basic induction (BIA/BIU) and Hyper (BHA/BHU) appliances, series conversion to the flatter BFIED air inlet nozzle as featured in the surface induction appliance is now complete. This means these appliances can also be easily fitted with the new All Black edition of the BEDAB air inlet nozzle. Delivery of the updated units will commence in October.

BORA UWM1 wind gauge The new BORA UWM1 wind gauge is now available for carrying out a simple, quick check of your individual extractor system following installation. By taking measurements as described in the supplement and comparing these readings with the reference values determined for each system, it can detect potential problems with the system’s extraction performance simply and quickly – including, for example, too long exhaust channels or assembly errors.

BORA UGPI1 grill pan no longer available Due to ongoing supply problems, the BORA UGPI1 grill pan has now been removed from the range and is therefore no longer available. Orders that are still open or already confirmed will be processed as quickly as possible.

BORA UFKS window contact switchThe new BORA UFKS window contact switch sees us expand our range and go one step further in offering you a complete, perfectly matched system from a single source. The installation process for this universally applicable wireless window contact switch is described for all specific BORA systems in the enclosed instructions.

BORA Classic CER inlay frame available now

As an additional installation option, BORA Classic now offers a stainless steel insert frame in the standard combination of extractor plus two cooktops for simple, semi-flush installation in worktops of any material – including laminate.

Planning instructions and special cut-out dimensions can be found in the current ventilation handbook 04/2018, available as a digital copy via BORA PartnerNet.

The CER insert frame can already be ordered and deliveries will commence in October 2018.

BORA Ecotube duct system – seals always includedWe would like to remind you that, as of 1 March of this year, all BORA Ecotube ducting sections with connection sleeve include the necessary seals in the standard scope of delivery. So when ordering BORA Ecotube components, you no longer need to worry about or place a separate order for the necessary sealing material.
