Any decision on the emergency process to be
followed will depend on the circumstances
encountered.
Note in Japan all arms are bolted therefore an
ESD1 would present difficulties with
disconnecting other than through an ESD2.
The Master will have to assess the situation
with respect to the timing and minimum tug
and pilotage support needed to depart.
It may be prudent to remain alongside with all
arms disconnected and gangway on or off.
