BANKING OPERATIONS CAP-II Day -3 session-1

• Customers will come at our counters with Instrument, Challan/PSID Sheet. PSID should also be written on the instrument.

• Issuance of paper token (Not computerized system generated token).

• Customer must be asked to note down all PSID Numbers on the Token.

• Bank Operations, then Pending payment list, Search payment, enter PSID, View payment.

• Enter Amount click Receive button

• Inputting of all PSIDs in CAP-II• Inputting of all PSIDs in Globus• Authorization• Check the number of Instruments inputted in CAP-2 and tally

them with the instruments inputted in the Globus. In CAP-2 check the Received Payments List and in Globus check the activity of Income Tax and With Holding Tax accounts.

• In case an instrument is returned, input return in Globus and then input return in the CAP-2. Check and Tally the total number of instruments cleared/passed and their total amount in the Globus and CAP-2.

Bulk clearance– Before running the Bulk Clearance Process it should be ensured

that the number of clearing and transfer Instruments and their respective amounts are same in both Globus and CAP-2.

– Click on the Bulk Transaction Clearance tab.– We can perform both user wise Bulk clearance or collective Bulk

Clearance.– Bulk Clearance of Transfer entries should be done by a transfer

user, and that of clearing by a clearing user.– In the Bulk Transaction Dialogue box give the receiving date and

receiving user of entries that are going to be confirmed, and press search.

– All the payments received by the given user on the given date will appear in form of a list. Total number of instruments and their amount will be given in the last row of the list

Matching number of instruments

Daily Prof List (DPL)• Daily Prof List (DPL) is a list of all the payments confirmed on

that particular day

• It shows separate total for cash, clearing and transfer

• At the end of DPL total number of CPR(s) and their total amount is given.

• DPL will not open after the close of day. It can only be generated for a date that is still open.

Close of Business• Open Daily Prof List. Note down the total number of CPR(s) and

their amount. These figures must tally with those of Globus.

• Click on “Close of Day” Operation.

• Date will automatically be on the present date, type the number of CPR(s) and their total amount.

• Punch in the PIN number and click “Close”.

• Confirmation message of close of day will appear on the screen.

Bank Scroll• Bank scroll can only be printed after the close of that particular

day

• Bank Scroll is a list of payments made and confirmed on a given date.

• Bank Scroll can be printed for any date that has been closed

• Bank Scroll along with one copy of cash, clearing and transfer CPR(s) is sent to Income Tax Authorities every day

Bulk Print of CPRs• This command is used to print all the CPR(s) confirmed on a given

date by a given user• Every user can bulk print CPR(s) confirmed by him/her• User with Manager rights can bulk print CPR(s) confirmed by any

useSteps• Click on “Bulk CPR Printing”• Select the date on which the CPR(s) were generated and the user

who confirmed the payments. • Click ‘Search” • Required CPR(s) will appear on the screen, click “Print CPR(s)”
