SAT & PSAT SAT & PSAT WEEKEND Session 1: June 10 - July 2 Session 2: July 15 - Aug 6 Our SAT Weekend program is a streamlined course that is ideal for busy high school students who cannot meet on the weekdays. Taught by Diana Wang, a veteran SAT instructor with 7 years of experience, this course will emphasize 14 hours of reading comprehension, grammar, and essay writing. In addition, 8 hours of math will be covered. Students will learn how to replicate thetechniques used by top TED speakers. They will learn how to craftand tell an engaging story, make and support arguments, and holdan audience’s interest. In addition, students will learn the basics of argumentation and debate while working collaborativeley with team members.

In additionreading comprehension will be stressed, students will analyzethe writing of well-known creative writers. The writing room will become a hub for creativity and unleash your imagination.

Mad Science: Thinking Like a Scientist June 12 - June 16: 9am - 1pm

Spend a whole week being a scientist! In this class, you will learnhow to e�ectively apply the scienti�c method by learning how to design and implements experiments involving engineering, food chemistry,and biology. Young scientists will be encouraged to test their hypothesis, use their results to make predictions about what might happen if the experiment is expanded to test new variables, and present their results through a poster presentation. Students will be given the tools they need to e�ectively learn about the world around them by pursuing answers to their questions in a methodical way.
