USAREC Mission

Provide the Strength of the Army

USAREC Vision

America’s premier opportunity for service —for citizens and Soldiers

ARMY STRONG

There is strong. And then there’s Army Strong.Army Strong is a unique brand of strength.Everyone is familiar with the tangible power ofthe U.S. Army: the Apaches, the Humvees, theweaponry, the push-ups. This campaign high-lights the true strength of our Army — thestrength that lies within each and every Soldier. Itis harder to see, but it is the strength that makesthe U.S. Army the preeminent land power onEarth.

Being Army Strong is about much more thanbeing physically fit. It is mental and emotionalstrength. It is the confidence to lead. It is thecourage to stand up for your beliefs. It is the

Page 5: 2K Referral Bonus Program

compassion to help others. It is the desire forlifelong learning. It is the intelligence to make theright decision. It is making a difference foryourself, your family, your community and ournation.

Army Strong is also the kind of strength thatendures. It is the strength that comes fromchallenging training, teamwork, shared valuesand personal experience.

It is a strength Like No Other. The U.S. Armyoffers an experience that cannot be foundanywhere else in the world. One of the best ways to explain what it trulymeans to be a Soldier in the U.S. Army is to haveSoldiers - from privates to generals - tell theirstories in communities across the nation. Thereare a variety of recruiting support programs thatgive Soldiers and leaders the opportunity to telltheir Army stories in their hometowns, aftertraining and deployments, as well as for specialrecruiting events. General officers and commandsergeants major may also register to assistrecruiting efforts in their hometowns or otherlocations.
