    NMS for 2G Networks (over T1 E1)

    GSM-GPRS Network Monitoring

    For more information,

TDM Network Monitoring and Surveillance System

NetSurveyorWeb (PKV170) is a is a simple, easy to use

Web browser client, with which users can remotely

monitor the status of entire IP network with the

    PacketScan probes or PacketProbes distributed

within network. Whenever a monitored call completes,

the probe calculates a variety of quality metrics (MOS,

loss, delay, jitter, etc) and sends the metrics to the

central Oracle database for storage. This data can then be

accessed in real-time from anywhere in the world

    through NetSurveyorWeb.

The PacketScan is a feature-robust Windows based

software probe that captures and monitors live IP traffic.

In the VoIP world, it can monitor and measure SIP, H323,

Megaco, MGCP, SCCP, Diameter, T.38 fax, and video calls.

With additional licensing, it can monitor 2G, 3G, and 4G

protocols over IP network such as GSM, GPRS and UMTS

    (PKV103), SIGTRAN (PKV105), and LTE (PKV107).

NMS for 2G Networks (over IP)

    GL's web-based client NetSurveyorWeb (PKV170)

    system facilitates monitoring real-time SS7 / ISDN /

GSM / GPRS probes over TDM, and display call

information using a simple web interface.

Typical application includes Call Detail Records, fraud detection and location, remote protocol analysis and troubleshooting, real-time signaling monitor, traffic optimization engineering, statistics

NMS features include a central database for historical and near real time data storage, a WebServer for "browser based" access to information.

Records are stored into a relational database (Oracle, DB2, Sybase, Microsoft Access.) using ODBC.

2G and 2.5G GSM GPRS Lab

GL offers an End-to-End 2G and 2.5G GSM GPRS Communications Network Lab (CNL) with all components such as

Base Station, RF channel, GSM core network elements such as BSC, MSC, and GPRS core elements such as SGSN,

HLR, and GGSN to support mobile call and traffic emulation.

One can setup a complete virtual real-time network simulating all the network elements, or any of the network

elements in the above architecture can be replaced with user's DUT to perform single interface, multi-interface, or

wrap-around testing. Complex scenarios such as handovers can be achieved easily.

The lab system can operate with real mobiles, or optionally, with a simulator such as GLs TRAU Testing Solution.

Simulate multiple instances of nodes in network such as MSC, BSS, SGSN, and GGSN to perform functional and load/

    stress testing.
