someone, there are envelopes in your packets. There
will also be envelopes available at the entrance.
Please get them in by March 28th. Thank you.
** Rosary: We will be praying the Rosary on
Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. throughout Lent. Please join us
this Lenten season. Lent is a season of reflection and
preparation before the celebrations of Easter.
** Wednesday - Stations of the Cross: The School
Children are leading Stations of the Cross at 9:30 a.m.
each Wednesday morning. Lisa Medina is trying to
get a priest to come one day a week for Mass. I will
update as information becomes available.
** Friday - Stations of the Cross: Friday Stations are
at 7:00 p.m. in the Church. Please join us in prayer.
** Friday - Adoration: We will have adoration each
Friday from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.
** Lenten Scripture Study: Wednesday 7:00 p.m.
during Lent, parishioners are invited to join on-line
discussions about the Mass readings for the following
Sunday. If you would like to join us, please send your
e-mail address to Deacon Tim (e-mail
to [email protected], or text to 231-409-0786).
He will then send you a Zoom meeting link. We will
dig a little deeper into these scriptures, look at their
cultural background, and share some insights and
reflections. This should be a simple way to
enhance your Lenten journey and connect with
others in the parish. Please join us!
**Scheduled Masses: All Masses that were
scheduled and not said during Fr. Eyob’s absence
are being rescheduled. I am moving each one to
the next available date. I am sorry for this
inconvenience. If you have any questions, please
feel free to contact Rosie at the parish office.
St. Mary-Hannah's students completed their NWEA testing.
After reviewing the reading and math data, 95% of our
students scored at grade level, above grade level, or showed
academic growth during this 2020-2021 school year.
It was wonderful to see so many students show academic
success especially since this school year has been so
challenging.
I know the students work hard and are dedicated to their
learning with the help of their parents.
Thank you, parents, for encouraging your child to take their
learning seriously even during their early elementary grades.

**Protecting our children: Diocese Promise to protect;
pledge to heal in an effort to protect all children and to promote healing, the Diocese of Gaylord encourages victims
of child abuse or neglect to report the matter. In fact, many professionals are required by Michigan State law to report
suspected abuse or neglect of a child or minor. Individuals should contact their local office of the Department of Human
Services. If an allegation involves sexual misconduct of a minor by clergy or any employee of the Diocese of Gaylord,
even if it is in the past, individuals may also contact Larry LaCross at (989) 705-9010.
