UPCOMING EVENTS
29 MAY 2015
For those who are not aware, I am going on leave to partake in my retirement trip to Europe, even though the retirement is still to happen. I will be gone for the rest of Term 2 and the first two weeks of Term 3. Janelle Urbanavicius will take on the Relieving Principal role and Peter Clark will step up to Relieving AP in the junior section of the school. Ellen Clarkstone is looking forward to all the joys of working with Janelle’s class over this time. She has spent some very worthwhile hours with the class over the last couple of weeks to familiarise herself with the students and they with her. Thanks Ellen.

Some classes have also read some other books by Aaron Blabey and they are HILARIOUS! Try reading ‘Pig the Pug’, ‘Pig the Fibber’ and (if you’re game!) ‘The Dreadful Fluff’. A lot of us LOVE these books! Aaron Blabey is a very cool author.
Wednesday was National Simultaneous Storytime across Australia, so like thousands and thousands of others, we read ‘The Brothers Quibble’ by Aaron Blabey. What a great book!
Brendon Kelleher – Including and encouraging others during playground games of cricket. He cheers on his friends and even teaches cricket skills to children who need help. Chloe Smith – Always being helpful, kind and caring to her peers and staff.
