President’s Report

In last month's "CALL BOY" you would of seen the story & photo's of the bitumen

being laid around the rear of the Theatre. Well I'm happy to report that the council

have just completed the pouring of the concrete path to access the Theatre from the

cast car park. They have done a brilliant job & it is the appropriate colour. This just

about completes the rejuvenation of the Theatre. It has been a long process but

worth it in the end. We are now waiting for the guttering around the Fly Tower to be

removed and as they say it "It's all done".

We were lucky to obtain more mulch for our garden & Renee our gardener has

finished applying it to the rest of our garden. Next time you are at the theatre have a

good look around and I'm sure that you will be all pleased at the work that has been

achieved.

Don't forget to purchase tickets for our latest production "THE CRUCIBLE". Kim

has done an amazing job with this famous play. He has assembled a star-studded

cast with a lot of familiar faces. The play is certainly powerful in its content & is a

must see.

The I.T.A have called another Presidents meeting at the end of the month & I will be

in attendance. I find these meetings very stimulating & rewarding. It is great to

speak to the other Presidents to find out how there are experiencing things on their

side. I will report to you on what transpires. I heard last year that some of the clubs

were trying their own On-Line booking service. It would be interesting to see if this

has transpired. This is something that I would like the Theatre to try.

See you at the Theatre.

Kindest Regards Zyg.

It’s that time of year again…

Membership runs out at the end of March every year

and this means it is membership renewal time.

Please visit the theatre website (www.roleystonetheatre.com.au) to print off a membership form or pick one up from the Theatre when you come to see a show. This then needs to be returned to the Theatre along with your remittance ASAP. You can join/renew at any time during the year but renewing on time ensures you still get the benefits of membership.

If payment is not received, you will soon cease to receive the callboy and other member benefits. If you paid your membership during the November/December 2008 time period, you are covered for 2009.

Past Recipients of the Gold Roley

If you can remember the year that you or another

member received the Gold Roley Award please contact

Kim Fletcher on 9399 2388.

We are hoping to collate this information for posterity!

LIPSTICK FUNDRAISER

The Theatre is doing a spot of fundraising through Nutrimetics consultant and Theatre member Nicola Carr.

All Nutrimetics lipsticks this month are the crazy price of $10 each, a saving of $23.50! For every lipstick members’ sell (or buy themselves) on behalf of the Theatre, Nicola will donate $1 for our coffers. Nutrimetics do not test on animals, nor contain any animal products. With 24 shades to choose from there’s sure to be a colour for everyone.

Included as an insert (or attachment by email) is an order collection form. All you need to do is ask your friends and family if they would like to purchase a really good quality lippie at a bargain price, get them to decide on quantity and colour, collect their money and then forward an order form with payment to Nicola (details on the form). For those who get the callboy by email you can

Rory Cornelius and Priscilla Busher recently held a ‘Dedication’ celebration for their daughter Tuppence at the beautiful ‘Church with a Chimney’ in Cannington.

Katherine John is off to the Olympics!!

She recently auditioned for a place on the Australian Team for the World

Championship of Performing Arts.

This event is often called the “Olympics of the Performing Arts” and celebrates the

join me in wishing her all the success that

she deserves. People wanting to track her

progress in the championships can visit
