Fi Asia-China 2014 attracted 1,670 international visitors from 66 countries and regions. Most of the visitors were Pan-Asian, but we are delighted to see that European attendances have gradually caught up with Asian counterparts this year. Korea, Taiwan, Japan, USA, India, Germany, Australia, France, Russia and Canada were Top 10 visiting countries.
Focus on ingredients, connect with food industry, target to global market
Focus on food ingredients and development of entire food industry
In recent years, Fi Asia-China is expanding steadily and developing itself to an industry-chain food expo step by step. This year the show hosted 6 co-located shows spread across 17 halls of the SNIEC (Shanghai New International Expo Center). With over 3,000 exhibitors and 200,000 sqm display area, this was the highest quality exhibition in China focusing on the food & beverage ingredients, starch and its derivatives, nutraceuticals, food machinery and pharmaceutical industries. Fi Asia-China, with other food shows, was held in five halls and featured over 1,000 leading companies from all over the world. The show has served the Chinese market for 15 years and continues to create a global meeting place for food professionals to source the ingredients they need, learn about the latest industry innovations and challenges and develop their business network.
Featured leading enterprises with a new record of growth rate of attendees
The heavy rains didn't restrict the visiting of serious buyers. According to the third party data statistics, Fi Asia-China 2014 attracted total 20,806 attendees, including the professionals from Coca-Cola, DANONE, Wyeth, Nongshim, Amway, Bright Food, Uni-President and other famous food companies. According to the post show survey, 94% of the visitors regarded their overall experience as very good and claimed they will visit the show again in 2015.

17 forums, 35 seminars and 8 sessions of match making to enhance visitor experience were available at Fi Asia-China. Packed conference rooms showed industry experts
provide key conference modules over the 3 days, which attracted 3,000 attendees. Exhibitors and visitors not only could set up business relationships in the show, but can also learn the updated industry regulations and market trends.
Innovative features and activities
Fi Asia-China keeps developing and renovating to bring more high quality activities to the participants. A free, bilingual mobile application helped visitors plan their day, meetings and have all show information. Innovation Tours, sponsored by Nutrimarketing, guided visitors around the halls to meet with exhibitors focusing on key areas, while the newly introduced Discovery Tours, in association with Leatherhead, allowed visitors take a topic focussed, self-guided tour. The new Exhibitor/Buyer programme matched visitors seeking specific products with relevant show exhibitors, and a matchmaking service with 21 Food, provided face-to-face meetings for international buyers with Chinese suppliers.
High rate of onsite rebooking for Fi Asia-China 2015
The exhibitors spoke highly of to Fi Asia-China 2014. According to the exhibitor survey, over 85% would like to exhibit in 2015. The onsite rebooking reached 70% and 40% of exhibitors were pleased to expand their booths in 2015. Especially the international exhibitors, over half have already rebooked their booths for 2015, with 54% of the remainder likely to rebook for 2015. Some of the visitors expressed their willing of exhibiting as well. Thanks to the positive response from both exhibitors and visitors, we believe Fi Asia-China 2015 will bring you a better platform on 24-26 June in Shanghai China!

Overseas Exhibitor ProfileFi Asia-China 2014 featured exhibitors from France, Germany, USA, Norway, Korea, India, Italy, Denmark, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Canada, Chile, Taiwan and over 20 other countries. The total display area of international pavilions was increased by 55.24% year-on-year. Fi Asia-China has become the prime choice of Taiwanese food ingredients companies who want to further develop in China. The Taiwan pavilion is expanded annually and the growth rate this year reached 75.82% versus 2013.The GOED Pavilion featured at Fi Asia-China for the first time. According to the visitors’ post show survey, the pavilion was highly appraised. Attendees were glad to see so many global omega-3 companies gathering together. The feedback of GOED exhibitors was very positive, and they’ve confirmed to exhibit in 2015.
