Dear Parents, Please do look through the newsletter to see the wide variety of activities our students are engaged in – every week. We have nothing but books, books and more books at School at the moment with students reading here, there and everywhere. Our thanks go to the many parent volunteers who have given up some time to read to their children’s classes this week – we appreciate the effort very much and the children certainly enjoy it as well. Our third Comenius Ball is also taking place this Friday and it promises to be a wonderful occasion for students and parents as we celebrate together in the formal setting of the Hotel Bellevue. We have also received confirmation from the Department of Education that following our successful inspection we can now be classified as a British School Overseas. This is a new classification which is intended to allow Schools overseas to be compared to standards of Schools in the United Kingdom. However, as I look around at our students at School, whether they be in Reception or in Year 13, I am simply struck every day by their happy demeanour and their cheerfulness as they engage in their school activities and lessons, with a genuine willingness to help and support one another. For me, that is the true measure of our success as a School. With my best wishes, Dr Barkei

It’s Book Week This Week!

Dear Parents,Please do look through the newsletter to see the wide variety of activities our students are engaged in – every week.

Our School teams are ready to go during the Relais pour la Vie this coming weekend; our Merite Jeunesse Silver and Gold award holders received their awards from Prince Guillaume and the Year 5 performance of the Snow Queen takes place next week which I am sure will be absolutely splendid.

With my best wishes,Dr Barkei

Sixth Form vs Teacher Football MatchWell done to the Sixth Form students for their 6 - 5 victory against the teachers! The staff blame their loss on the fact that they were ‘ravaged by absenteeism, illness and injury’ - however we all know the truth! Having lost against the teachers in the previous match, the game has set up a nice decider to be played in June/July. Man of the match was Sam D. - Congratulations!

Sal Vikram should have died in a fire in 2029. Yet moments before death, someone mysteriously appeared and said, ‘Take my hand . . .’ Liam, Maddy and Sal aren’t rescued. They are recruited by an agency that no one knows exists, with only one purpose - to fix broken history.
