S p o ns o r s 1. Weather: The decision to fish is solely the captain’s choice. All anglers fish at their own risk. If the tournament determines it is unsafe to fish, cash awards will still be presented by randomly selecting boat names at the awards party. (Must be present to win.) 2. No entry refunds or rain checks 3. All fish must be caught on rod & reel (no electric reels). Kites, wire lines, downriggers and planers are allowed. Live bait, dead bait, and artificial baits are permitted. No restrictions on line test. 4. The eastern fishing boundary line is 25 nautical miles. Fishing in the Bahamas is prohibited. 5. All state and federal recreational fishing rules regarding weight, size, and bag limits must be observed. State fishing license is required by law. Only legal sized fish will be weighed. No billfish will be weighed! 6. No limits to the number of lines a boat may fish. 7. Prizes are awarded to heaviest fish in each category, not accumulated weight. 8. Each boat is allowed to weigh one fish per category. Award winners over $600 must provide their social security number, will be required to fill out a W-9 form and will be subject to a polygraph test. 9. Junior anglers are not eligible for adult cash awards. Juniors are defined as kids 12 years old or younger (as of May 11, 2019) Juniors must fight their fish unassisted. 10. Cash and prizes will be awarded to the person/entity that paid the entry fee from the winning boat, unless that said person signs a release designating another individual/ entity to receive the cash or prize. Payments will be made the following week of the tournament. 11. Tournament scales open at 1 pm. No mutilated fish will be weighed. Anglers entering fish must return to the tournament scales from the boat they fished from by 4:30 pm and must be weighed in the presence of the weigh master, the angler or captain and recorded on an official weigh-in form. 12. No fish or anglers can be transferred between boats. It is important to keep your fish adequately iced. 13. All entered fish must be able to pass a Torry Meter and Organoleptic test. 14. In the event of a tie the first fish weighed will win the award and the other fish will become eligible for the next lower category if applicable. 15. If a species category remains vacant (i.e. no 3RD place dolphin entered), that prize will not be awarded. 16.
