Welcome to Our Lady of the Rosary Parish
Professing one Faith, one Lord, and one Baptism,
Our Lady of the Rosary Parish is a Roman Catholic
community of the people of God redeemed by Jesus Christ and sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Strengthened by Prayer, the Sacraments, and the Word, we seek to know Jesus Christ fully, to serve Him faithfully,
and to experience the transforming power of the
Holy Spirit. Through the Stewardship of our Time, Talent and Treasure, we strive to
minister to the spiritual and material needs of all God’s
Children. Empowered by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we proclaim the
Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ and
invite everyone to join us in the Kingdom of God where the

GOD S SUMMONS
Confronted with God s power and majesty, the first response of the prophet Isaiah was to acknowledge his sinfulness. Woe is me, I am doomed! For I am a man of unclean lips, he said aloud. Likewise, with his empty fishing nets dramatically filled at Jesus instruction, Peter fell to his knees and cried out, Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man. Next, Peter got up. He docked his boats then left to follow Je-sus. Isaiah also had a dramatic change of heart. When he heard the Lord say, Whom shall I send? Who will go for us? Isaiah answered, Here I am, send me. We are summoned daily by the Risen Lord. We are reminded of the saving power of the gospel and know in our heart of hearts that, as St. Paul wrote, believing in anything else won t lead to anything. What will it take for you to move past your sinfulness? What will it take for you to get off your knees? What will it take for you to bring to dock what is unimportant and to accept your call to be God s messenger? Copyright (c) J. S. Paluch Co.
LIVE THE LITURGY - INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK Have you ever felt a compelling urge to respond to a situation and then found yourself questioning whether you should do so? Fear often takes hold of us, and we find ourselves making ex-cuses for why it is better to just mind our own business. There is a voice within each of us that is saying, "Follow me". What does this prompting mean? The purpose of discipleship is not to secure our own station in life and enhance our comfort zone. Discipleship is about taking risks and venturing forth into the unknown, tending to the needs of others and being prophetic voices of change. We will not drink deeply of life until we listen to the voice of God within. When God asks, "Whom shall I send?", will you reply, "Here I am ? send me!"?

Cuan-do Dios pregunta: "¿A quién enviaré?", ¿Responderás: "¡Aquí estoy? envíame a mí!"?
Congratulations
To all those Celebrating A Wedding Anniversary this Month
We pray for all married couples, for their faithfulness to each other and for their renewed commitment to the loving covenant they pledge to each other through the Sacrament of Marriage.

The Catholic Church encourages the “practice of merciful love,” offering as a guide the corporal works of mercy, charitable acts for the common good and basic human welfare. These actions are rooted in our love for the Lord, and as Jesus tells us, knowing that whatever we
do for the most vulnerable among us we do for Him. Pantry Hours: Tuesday, Thursday & Fr iday 9 am -11:30 am. For assistance Contact (813)949-6094

Be Courageous-Live the Gospel through the Annual Pastoral Appeal This year the Annual Pastoral
Appeal is themed: BE COURAGEOUS Live the Gospel through the Annual Pastoral Appeal, a message that calls us to stand firm in our Catholic faith and be a source of hope and life for each other and people in need here and now, and in the future. Together, let’s pray that the Holy Spirit will guide our journey and bestow His grace upon us as we serve others. That He will grant success of our appeal, which reaches beyond ourselves and our parish, and gives hope to thousands through the ministries, programs, and services that enrich a Christ-centered way of life.
Let us also pray for our parish and our diocese. That those in need of charity, service, formation, and education will be assisted with God’s promise of love and mercy. That by our witness and coura-geous response, those in need will know the same comfort and hope that we have in our hearts and lives.
As you receive your personal invitation from Bishop Parkes for participation in the 2019 Annual Pastoral Appeal, please review the brochure and learn more about the good works of our local Church made possible by APA.
