VFN young leaders

With a vision of Mr. Lalit, founder and manager of VFN, VFN child club has been recently formed new club of the VFN kids by the VFN kids. The members in the club are all VFN children. The members are selected by the voting system by VFN children among the VFN children.

The newly elected young leaders of VFN child club in Papas Home are given below:

New Apartment for volunteers

Very soon we are having New apartment for volunteers. Actually the new law, according to Nepal Government, we decided for this. In this apartment, the volunteers can live their

own lifestyle. The new apartment is there doesn’t mean that we are trying to keep distance between the volunteers and the kids. This new system keeps everything as it was

before with more positive results effectively.

Volunteer room is going to be a VFN LIBRARY

There is good news for all the VFN kids that after the volunteers will shift to their new apartment, the volunteer room will now become VFN library. We will have our own library at Papa’s home. Our little library will have additional creative books, novels, CDs, videos and audios.

According to Mr. Shahi, “By adding VFN library services, we will be providing our kids an opportunity to experience the enjoyment of reading habits and excitement of discovering the world and works of imaginations.” Mr. Lalit believes that if children are inspired by the reading habit, they are likely to benefit from these vital elements of personal development throughout their lives, both enriching them and enhancing nation too.

All the VFN kids are very excited about having their new library at their home!

Football Jerseys and Night dresses for all

Wow, VFN kids got new football wears and night dresses. New pinch to all the kids!

Each of them was provided with light cotton night dresses by Emmy, our volunteer from Denmark. Since the kids didn’t have any special wears for night, Emmy decided to grant these dresses to these kids.

Similarly, football cleats and jerseys were gifted by Paola and her friends, our next volunteer from Mexico. Every morning all the kids go to near ground to play football. Because of these sport wears, the kids can safely play football on the ground.

We gracefully thank both Emilie (Emmy) and Paola for making our children’s life better. Our kids are very happy.

VFN children are glad to have their new text books and Study boxes

We send our every child to school in Papa’s home. The new academic sessions in Nepal usually begins during April-May. New text books are required for their new classes. As per the necessity, all the kids received stationary items, uniforms, text books and note books.Big thanks to MS. Andrea Lapostal for her great gift.

To develop into successful and responsible adult, a child has to undergo all the needed developmental things. Big thanks to Mr. Saroj Maharjan and his friend from New Zealand, Mr. Rob Buchanan for providing our kids comfortable and effective study boxes. Study boxes where the kids have their own educational materials in their own respective boxes safe. 10 study boxes were provided. These boxes are helping kids to promote continuous education. There won’t be more mess about misplacing own belongings.

Happy Birthday VFN kids!!!

A very Happy Birthday wishes to the sweetest kids (JP, Prakash, Pabitra, upendra and Niraj) their date of Birth was in this month.

Management Change:Here, we are sharing with you about the new management system of Papa’s home.

Recently the Project director, Mr. Eric Fairman has left VFN Papa’s home. Mr. Eric was a dedicated (Volunteer Staff )of Papa’s home. Just due to some differences opinion in our

goals, we have separated. Still we are good friends. We thank Eric for his warm love, care and support for the VFN children till now. We wish him good luck for his upcoming days.

After then, the overall responsibility of VFN is being taken by Mr. Lalit Shahi, the founder of VFN. “My both ears need to undergo operation I need your help… Please help me…….” – Pooja Pariyar

One of our kids, Pooja is having ear problem. It has been more than a year that she became a member of VFN kids. Later we came to know that she was having ear problem which was her old problem since years. We tried our best to take care of her ears through regular check-ups. According to doctors from Teaching Hospital, regular treatment is not good for her long term good health.

So, her both ears require surgery very soon as possible. Total cost required for her each ear operation is only Rs7500 and for medical expenses, and other charges include Rs 7000 only. Doctors recommend to operate her each ear after at least six month duration gap. We are seeking donations for quick recovery of our little Pooja. Please donate to prevent Pooja from being deaf.
